ID Request
    #23456037 - 07/19/16 12:15 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Two ID Requests
(1)
Habitat:
City park with sparse vegetation, mostly grass with a few trees. They were growing at the foot of a tree and in open grass surrounding the tree. I believe the tress were pine trees. They grow in the dirt, not on trees. Found in Eastern WA.

Gills:
Gills are brown, coffee with one creamer brown. Gills are attached to cap.

Stem:
Stem is around 2-3 cm long. Diameter may be around 1 mm. It's soft and squishy.

Cap:

Cap diameter is around 2-3 cm. More conical/spherical, very similar to the head of a penis.

Spore print color:
Dark brown or black, still developing it.

Bruising:
No bruising observed.

Other information:
Very mushroomy, close to the smell from shiitake shrooms.

City park with sparse vegetation, mostly grass with a few trees. They were growing at the foot of a tree and in open grass surrounding the tree. I believe the tress were pine trees. They grow in the dirt, not on trees. Found in Eastern WA. They grow in groups of 2.

Gills:
Gills are brown, coffee with lots of cream-maybe a cappuccino. Gills are attached to cap.

Stem:
Stem is around 1-2 cm long. Diameter may be around 1 mm. It's soft and squishy-seems hollow.

Cap:

Cap diameter is around 2-3 cm. More convex.

Spore print color:
Dark brown or black, still developing it.

Bruising:
No bruising observed.

Other information:
Significantly less mushroomy smelling, closer to dirt. The smell of dirt with a little funk on it.

Thanks for any help.
My guess is that they are Panaeolus cinctulus, but I'm not sure.
