Word of advice...a bunch of sponsors on here are shit and are simply here to support the website (which by all means is understandable) but even if it is a Shroomery sponsor, ALWAYS do research on them.
With that being said, no idea about your mimosa question. I will say that if you're in the states, it's easier to get ahold of good quality Acacia Confusa but Mimosa is easier to work with.

By any chance, are the two materials interchangeable? Or would I need to find a new tek?

Depending on the tek, it's very interchangeable.
If I were you, I would look up "Cyb's Salt Tek" which is my personal favorite tek and can be used with either 50g of Mimosa Hostilis root bark or 50g of Acacia Confusa root bark.

Ill do that.
Also, have you seen this one: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/6931010
Would either material suffice for that one?
Is there a way to know which teks would allow for the interchangeability?
Between these two matetials, is there any difference in result? Or only in process and material used?

I don't know enough to give you accurate information for most of those questions and I am unfamiliar with that Tek. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject will chime in.
As far as difference in the barks, Acacia Confusa contains slightly more DMT than Mimosa, but it also contains more NMT along with other plant oils which will produce a yellow-ish goo rather than smokable spice unless you do a defat and/or a re-x on your spice which are both explained in Cyb's Salt Tek.
The yellow-goo is very okay to smoke and very psychoactive. You'll get what many refer to as a "full spectrum trip" if it contains other alkaloids in the plant, but many also prefer "pure" DMT.
I personally re-x my yield once so that I know it's clean. But I only do it one time so that it (usually) still contains a little yellow spice in it as that's how I prefer my spice.
You can basically look at Mimosa Hostilis and Acacia Confusa as sister trees.
