What to do after harvesting...

Ok I'm getting ready to harvest my 1st flush. Obviously mushrooms don't grow at the same speed. After I pick the majority of the full grown mishrooms, what am I to do with all the pins that didn't grow? I know you pick the aborts because they are essentially dead in the water, what do I do with the small mushrooms that look healthy, just look like pins? Do I keep them there and dunk for 24hrs? Do I pick everything off so it looks like it did before anything grew? Please help, this is only my second tub and the first one got contaminated after 1st flush, I'm trying not to make the same mistake twice. Thanks Shroomers!

You just leave them on and dunk.
Pins can survive 24hours submerged.

Remove from dunk 12-24hrs later, then lightly rinse them off, place back in sgfc. You shouldn't have to reroll in verm but you can if they look bare. Sometimes a dusting on top will give them enough moisture retention after the 1st flush if there's not much verm left. Rerolling can introduce contams but it can sometimes improve the next flush..its really up to the cake to do its thing.
I should of been more specific....it is not cakes I am working with, it is a monotub. I spawned wbs to bulk and that is what I'll be dunking. I think I will pick all the full growns, submerge in water, weight it down for 24hrs. Then I'll empty the water the best I can and hope for another flush. Last tub I didn't even get to the dunk, I got trich directly after harvesting. I got kind of lazy with my cleanliness during harvest so maybe that was it. Anyways I buried it and got a few more mushies out of it. This time I hope to get a second flush because I always read that the second has bigger mushrooms. This is what my tub currently looks like:

It's not the most even pinset in the world, I'm just happy stuff is growing. From what Ive read wbs is not the easiest grain to use and I skipped cakes and went right to grains in bulk. Go big or go home!

Trich before/around/right after the first flush is almost always due to dirty spawn. Harvesting can cause mold but only when you cut them rather than pull and it only ever appears around the time the 2nd flush is finishing for me. Some of the stumps left over get soggy and mold can germinate easy on that.
Anyway, if this is your first flush, you can get away with a heavy misting. You can dunk as well if you wish to but if you are going to have a bunch of shrooms still there, misting is safer. It's easy to knock a bunch of shrooms over or break your sub in half trying to dump the water out. If it keeps looking dry, you can always bottom water it. Just pour some water down the side and the water that doesn't get absorbed after a couple of hours can be removed.

Those pins look ready to grow without dunking, I would say heavy misting.

Ok that's good to know, moisture doesn't seem to be a problem, I'm holding a 95% humidity and seems there is plenty of moisture. So the new pins grow because the nourishment is no longer going to the harvested ones correct? Do you generally have stumps or just pull them out completely and trim before drying?

Depends. If they rip all the substrate off with pulling, you should cut. Mostly depends on the variety but genetics play a part as well. I always cut MDK and Martinique but I can pull PE without damage for the most part. Same variety but different genetics might have a totally different hold on the substrate. I do notice that the stumps left over tend to get germinated on by molds though but that only happens around the time the 2nd flush is finishing so it's not really a problem since you already took most of what it's capable of growing.
Also, don't confuse humidity with moisture content. Both have their own job but humidity cannot be a substitute for water. Humidity is largely irrelevant anyway, you can grow in open air in a low humidity environment if you can keep up with misting.
