I reckon that silo was about 50 feet in height too,and you can see it from the google maps Ariel view quite easily!

Dude I'm not 100 percent sure but I think we may have climbed the same silo. That day we went out when I was young we drove for what seemed like FOREVER to meet up with some other pals that lived a good bit away but I never knew for certain where we were exactly!
Anyways there was a very active road VERY close to the one we climbed! Did you see where homeless people were staying in the silo with shirts' condoms and shit spots in and around the silo by any chance?

Well, seeing as you only live an hour and a half south of me,it's possible, but highly unlikely.
Have you even been to my town before?
On a side note, there are no bums or homeless people in this town that I've ever seen. However,I noticed an old tent, and a bunch of sardine cans and bottles,so at one point, some homeless people,or a person was living out there, which I thought was very strange for my area.
Dude,I got on a historic ariel satellite site, and you can go back to 1950! That area was a thriving farm at one time, and that silo had a big building attached to it at one point
I have been hooked on the site, and, and it shows just how much all the structures fields, woods, and landmarks have changed throughout the years!
I didn't even know that had satellite imagery back in 1950,and it's exactly like a black and white version of google earth!
I also found that my pond out in the woods I have been stocking was dug in1950!
It originally was in a open field and much bigger. Now it's half that size, and totally surrounded in deep woods. I give it another 20 years and it will be totally dried up and gone.
I know it was dug in 1950 because on the satellite view you can see where they are digging it,and what looks like a small bulldozer right in the center of the unfinished dry hole.

I'm trying to get up some money for a metal detector,so I can find historic old farms that are no longer there, like this one,and do some hunting. I guarantee I can find all kinds of valuable stuff in old areas like this!
I have been finding old bottles around my pond, and I found a blue mason jar dated back to 1910 yesterday!

I can't zoom in to see any silo but I imagine from the time I remember bullshittin in that car with my buddies that we actually could have been in your area and that's pretty much what it looked like with kudzu and trees but the kudzu wasn't quite that wild at that time.
That is pretty interesting about that site! Send me a link Via PM so I can go back in time out here. I think I have a family member that has a metal detector and if so I'm gonna have some fun!!!!!
I know there were battles fought within about 15 miles of where I live back in the civil war so that would be interesting to find an old dropped Colt Revolver out here like one guy I know did a couple years ago
BTW That bottle sounds interesting!!! Can you take a pic for me please??? I LOVE old glass work and have a nice collection of them over at my aunts where we used to go out together and find them in the garden and in large crop areas!

You need my glasses, let me circle it for you

That place is pretty much the only area in town where I've seen the Kudzu like that,so I guarantee it originated from those people that lived there long ago.
Here is a link to that site.
http://www.historicaerials.com
Yeah man,get out there and do some hunting, because there is no telling what you may find
Dude, this town is poor, and trash pickup isn't included with all you other bills, and is super expensive.
This being said, people dump there trash all over the woods, and secluded areas here, and have been since this town was created.
I have all kinds of spots where I go hunting, and I have so much glass, you couldn't even load it all in the back of a pickup truck.
You should see the old gallon amber glass Clorox bottle I found along the creek bank buried in mud. It's work about $30 dollars!
I also have a plethora of old Coke bottles, and other stuff form the early 1900's up to the 60's!
I can go out and find expensive bottles every time I go hunting, only problem is what good is having it all, when you can't even sell it,no mater what it's worth
That mason jar is soaking right now,and then it's into the dishwasher, when it's done,I'll shoot you a pic

It's seeds form a sassafras tree.
Spaceman seems to love this particular tree for some reason.
I think the leaves smell real neat

Well I think everyone knows what's soo special about this plant although it is 1 hell of a job to take the root bark and turn it into what I want it to be
Anyways what you gonna do with those seeds Bro? I never seen a Sass tree produce seeds before. I thought it was a sucker plant reproducing by growing new plants from well established roots

Well, there were tons of baby pants growing off it's roots, like you stated, but that tree, and all the trees near it are covered in seeds! This is my first time seeing them ever!
http://www.kerrysgarden.us/sassafras-seeds/
I had a hard time getting babies with actual good roots,so I gave up,and got some seeds for now.
Maybe I'll harvest as many as I can reach, and spread them to new areas.
That tree, will be in the creek,in probably less than a year,I'd say, poor thing.
