Mysteries at the museum is an awesome show, I really liked the second episode of the pyramid code also, it was a bit dry for most though. Anything on tesla is always a good watch

Tbh that's really cool that you're into documentaries. I've been meaning to check out a couple on Netflix but when I actually sit down to watch something they completely slip my mind.

The last movie I watched on Netflix was Brotherly Love (2015), and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would describe it as a modern day, urban Romeo and Juliet.

I loved Little Girl Blue..the Janis Joplin documentary. I was coming up on shrooms and watched it. It will be interesting to watch it again, this time straight, to see if it was as phenomenol as I thought it was the first time!

Daaaamn.
I have to do an episode at a time, I don't know why it's so hard for me to focus on tv. I can browse the Shroomery or just listen to music on my bed for hours but tv really drains me.
It is really good though.

Good list. Flaked is great. I've watched about 4 episodes of Bloodline and couldn't get into it, none of the characters really interest me. I think WHAS is my favorite on that list.

Already have. In spite of some flaws (namely the end, but not the part where Malcolm is dancing, that was great), pretty good movie there.

The ending was a bummer but Malcolm's running man was probably my favorite part of the entire move.

By way of contribution to the thread, I recommend a 2015 movie called 'Circle'. It's a sci fi affair that takes place in one room. 50 strangers just "wake up" in this crazy facility where every 90 seconds someone dies, and they discover they control who it is. Interesting examination of how people judge each other, grim look at human nature.
Also, Netflix recently added 'Beverly Hills Cop'.

Haha, yeah, the dancing was killer.
I thought the ending just felt shoe horned in. Like, the whole movie is a relatively light comedy, not slapstick, but clever satire; nothing heavy though. And then in the end, when he's writing the college application essay, the movie all of a sudden acts like it's some weighty examination and critique of American race relations, which it wasn't all along. I got the sense that the writer and/or director had a hard time with an ending, and opted for the "soap box" approach, which didn't really fit the rest of the movie. All in all, though, I enjoyed it.
