I've seen a few posts about your faith; So many that I was surprised to see this thread and your other similar posts, with mocking considered blasphemous and all.

Among other things.

(Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, I was being facetious when I said that I hid this thread.
In fact, I didn't hide it at all.
In fact, I am monitoring it closely.

I posted no mockery. I simply posted the verses as they actually appear in the bible, with no commentary.
Nothing I have said in this thread is blasphemous in any way, nor is there any mockery.
Just a list of bible verses that I find amusing, with no commentary or interpretation at all, exactly as they appear in the bible.

That's what got me. I've never read it cover to cover, just dipped in. I really had no idea it said such things.

The vast majority of people, including those who call themselves Christians, have virtually zero idea of what the bible actually says.

Take away the religious loading and it reads like a myopic translation of a crazy man's travels including a fantastical background story. Depends what your into I suppose.

You are referring to Jesus?
Keep in mind that the majority of the bible is not about Jesus (only the New Testament is about the life of Christ)

You really cant even remotely reduce the old testament to simply the back story of Jesus.
That is exactly the kind of misconception that is common among people who haven't actually read the bible.
Its true that Christians tried to draw support for the idea of Jesus as the Messiah by reference to certain prophecies from the old testament, but the Old Testament is much more the history and laws of the Hebrew/Israelite people, along with a creation story and wisdom teachings.
It simply cant be reduced to the backstory of Jesus.
Keep in mind that the "Old Testament" is the same thing as the Jewish Torah. Jews don't believe in Jesus as the messiah, but do hold the old testament sacred.
Clearly then, its not all about Jesus.

My favorite parts arent even the story but all the good wisdom and solid advice on how to be a good wholesome and God fearing man.
Its not easy being a Christiam. Its even harder being a Christian and a degenerate.
People can say what they will about the Bible. If you live as Jesus instructs you simply become a happier and better person.
I live in sin and i am miserable. I honestly believe that we are divine in nature and Christianity asks us to live up to that. Is it just coincidince that the most hedonistic people are the highest risk group for aids? Possibly. Everyone i know who has mocked Jesus our God is now in a very dark place. I on the other hand, while i struggle with my faith, am still in good health and std free.
I have prayed away intense withdrawls and some intense pain as well. Ive seen the word bring family back from alcoholism and more. Its just too much dor me to not believe.

Id like to add that my misery is my own fault and i consistantly ignore my subconscious and the holy spirit within me that always tries to push me in the right direction.
Im clean off of heroin for almost a week tho and have quit cigs and am starting to read the Bible again.
