When I was a child it was acceptable to refer to, brown people of African descent, as 'half caste.'
My best friend at the time had a white English mother, and a black caribbean dad, who, perhaps a little stereotypically, gave me my first ever taste of melon after my friend pointed out the puzzled look on my face when I saw it on the kitchen table. I refered to my friend as "half cast," not derogatorily, he just was. He was the same hue as Barack Obama BTW. Late 60's, a different era.

I call the blacks "cracka's" because they tend to like crack cocaine.
Am i a racist or simply observant?

Why, if someone white and someone black have a child together, does everybody assume that that kid is black and not white, while genetically its an even split?

Negro is a word black people have outgrown, they generally are not comfortable with it.
Its best to call a people that which does not offend them.
Melanated is such a word but, I have had little problems with "black".

I see blacks call each other negro ALOT. especially Correctional officers to inmates but also outside of that environment.
I haven't seen any other ethnicities call them that thought, excluding the spanish word for black which is spelled the same but pronounced differently.

They dont even need to be determined. They just have thin skin and take life too seriously based on their upbringing
