All psychedelics have seemingly different feels from trip to trip in my experiences. Weather it be mushrooms, LSD, or various research chems,  any psychedelic I've done multiple times has given me at least a few different experiences. Its just the nature of them I believe.

I would assume that it's similar to how different strains of weed give different highs. The THC is not the only psychoactive chemical in the plant. Different ratios yield different effects.

Likewise with psilocybin?

As GPryder mentioned, trips vary from experience to experience, as the nature of the psychedelic experience is fluid & variable. On top of that, psilocybin & psilocin are not the only psychoactives contained in mushrooms, and different species have different amounts of each of these....as well as differing amounts of psilocybin & psilocin.

Same reason different kinds of weed can give different types of effects.

The thing about shrooms and weed is they aren't just drugs they are a collection of drugs and those chemicals can vary a lot from species to species.
