From growing out of prepared kits to growing out of spores: A collection of questions

Hi everyone! This is my first post here.
Three years ago I grew my first shrooms from one of those popular growkits and it went very well for a first attempt (476g fresh / 38g dried in 4 flushes). The thing is that now, part as a challenge and part because I can't no longer buy a growkit, I will like to try the true way of growing from zero starting only with the spores. After reading and researching a lot, it is inevitable for me to have a lot of questions I would like to ask you, as there is too much information out there and sometimes even contradictory. So, let's go:
• Syringes
1) As far as I understood, it is no necessary to use the whole print in a syringe. Why can't one use the whole print in a syringe? Wouldn't it end with better colonization of the mycelium?
2) Some times I've seen people using water while others use serum. Will it work with both or is there any preferred one?
• Liquid Culture
3) Would it work by dropping the spores directly in a jar containing a sterilized mixture of water and honey or is strictly necessary to use a syringe? If serum instead of water was used in the syringe, will be any issue with the final mixture?
4) Do the jar of the LC need a breathing hole or not?
• Jars preparation
5) A basic one; which grain would you recommend from all of them? (I was thinking about rye as one of the best grains, or at least better to rice)
6) I saw a lot of tutorials regarding the lids and the breathing holes. By covering them with aluminum foil in the PC it's enough to avoid having the filter moisted?
7) I saw also in some teks people adding some vermiculite (some in the bottom, others in the top of the jar) in addition with the grains. Would you recommend this too? If so, where? Top or bottom?
• Colonizing the jars
8) What proportion (in ml) would you use per jar? And what would happens if it's exceeded? Premature growing or contamination? I don't understand why one wouldn't use the whole syringe per jar or at least use a nice big part of its content.
• Fructifying
Instead of doing the usual PF tek, I was thinking that copying what other users did will lead to more sucess:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22794677 https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17235884#17235884 https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7708447 https://www.shroomology.org/forums/topic/5847-rez-effect-reloaded/
But where there are too many different ways to achieve the goal.
9) what would you use as substrate? (the one I saw very interesting was made out of coir + used coffee grain, although also there are some tutorials using the same grains of the jars) And what about the proportions? Any topic about it? (preferably in metric system).
10) Some recommend pressure cooking the substrate while others just suggest to boil it or put it in the oven. Which one do you find the better?
11) how would you distribute the layers?
a) vermiculite only at the bottom, on the top, or on both sides doing a "sandwich"? b) mixture of crumbled mycelium with substrate c) crumbled mycelium and substrate on top d) other
12) I've also read about adding the substrate on the top once the colonized grain starts showing it's first pins and not before. What do you think about this?
13) How many flushes can one expect by following this steps? Because dunking doesn't seems to be possible with the hole tub, I guess that after harvesting and moistening with a sprayer there must be at least one more. Also here I see no option to do a small cold shock.
14) I think this is more a matter of taste if it's well ventilated and fanned, but... Tub with or without holes?
• Other random questions
15) How many days would you say it would take the whole process? (I was thinking about 30 to 45 days)
a) spores to syringes -> LC -> jars -> incubating -> fructifying b) spores to syringes -> jars -> incubating -> fructifying c) and what about this? good idea or waste of spores?
Thanks in advance!
PS: Other suggestions for first timers also welcome!

First welcome to the shroomery. Second slow down. You are all over the map. You need to stop thinking and start reading good information. Start with a clear and easy tek. We recommend pf tek to start because it's simple to follow with fewer steps. This can help you get familiar with the organisim and it needs.
You need to start reading stuff that's coherent and orderly. Your questions are all over the place and make it obvious that you need some direction. I suggest you read this link, and the links in it. That linked tek called "no fail" should change its name cause I been seeing people failing with it all the time. Start with this instead.

If you want to skip PF tek then you need to do more reading. You need a PC. You need a game plan. You need to read that link.
Through all of this remember that the mushroom life cycle is simple. Spores germinate, mate, colonize substrate, fruit, and create more spores.

Thank you for your quick reply (and for the welcome too).

Uh, despite my research I didn't find that link before, thanks a lot! I will have it a look and try to answer myself before replying again.
In any case, I would say that the main problem I have is being a non native English speaker and read a lot of abbreviations and specific terminology I don't know :P

Not speaking English as a first language is going to be tough. If you run across something you don't understand I suggest you just ask for clarification and explain your situation. Any decent person will help you.
Good luck man!

Your English is spectacular. The links in our signatures go to the best info on the website. Other users signatures have good links too. That's a quick way to find most of the best info around.
Feel free to ask for clarification
