I think bisco sucks, but have fun buddy.
I've never had any problem drinking in line to get into a fest

If you think Camp sucks then you probably never went to it when it was in NY. That fest was sick back then. The old Camp's before EDM blew up were really fun too

Just wanted to follow this up with HUGE thank you to everyone who responded. Too hungover to get too into it, but let's just say EASILY the best few days of my life. If the music wasn't enough (and it absolutely was!), the people would have made up for it. Never met so many wonderful weirdos. Talked to so many people from so freaking far away spending the summer driving around the country hitting up festivals. I TOTALLY get that now. Not surprisingly, all the misfits, the rejectamenta of society compiled into one place is a recipe for a banging time. It's TRULY something else not being the "weirdest guy in the room". I think that may be the first time in my life I felt like I actually belonged somewhere.
The atmosphere was amazing, the energy palpable and completely contagious. Every stranger who came up and hugged me, every random high five, every "Happy Bisco!" made me grin like a retard (though the acid may have had a hand in that too). And the gorgeous hippy chicks with bandaid bras were certainly a welcome change from everyday mundane NEPA life.
In the end, my sister came and spent two nights with me. For the record, me and my sister have almost nothing in common. She is terrified of psychedelics. I'm not kidding when I say she actually beleives there was a person who thinks they are a glass of spillable orange juice from LSD and that that person went to our high school. With that said, here is us after 25mg of 4-AcO-DMT:

I think that says something about the atmosphere there.
The heat was a nightmare (95 during the day and around 75 at night, my tiny tent was like an oven). I picked a horrible area in the woods simply because it was available and I didn't feel like lugging the cooler any further (no, I didn't see the giant signs saying "shuttle"...). Hammocks next time. Unfortunately it wasn't the most social of camping areas, but I ended up spending most of my time with a group in their upright (my god, people certainly come prepared to these things don't they? The rugs were a nice touch...), I mentioned it was my first festival and this group was going to make damn sure I had a good time. The walk to the campsite was murder. My legs are almost entirely useless and if I didn't have a camel pack, I probably would've died from dehydration. Totally worth it!
Gonna start making a concerted effort to track down the counter culture in my area. It's great to find that not everyone is an asshole! After I sleep for the next three days that is.
Thanks guys!

Next time go to a smaller fest, it's even better vibes man! I'm glad you had a great time! Bisco is like an intro fest and now that you understand fests a bit better, you have so many more options open to you.
What were your favorite sets of the weekend?

Yea, I'm going to look into everything within driving distance. Maybe start about five monotubs so I have the cash to invest in new gear/all the hopping about.
Griz was my absolute favorite, Gryffin and Nghtmre were stellar (the bass, enhanced as I was, was out of this world, borderline transcendental), loved Lotus, RL Grime (first time I heard him, awesome!), Space Jesus, The New Deal (another new experience for me), Anna Lunoe, Ott (huge fan of Ott, one of the main reasons I went), and about a half dozen more who I didn't know by name. I spent a lot of time stuck in one location listening to DJs/bands I didn't recognize just because moving was too hard (loaded as I was), and I didn't get a map/schedule until Friday. A lot of the first day I spent walking from stage to stage finding the biggest crowds. Good way to get turned onto new artists .
I'm not a huge fan of the Biscuits (not that I don't like them, they just aren't my favorite), but the two sets of theirs I checked out seemed a bit...I dunno, let's just say if this weekend was anything to go on, their studio recordings are better than their live sets. Everyone else I saw more than made up for it though.
