If you're good enough, they might give you a job inside
Idk, I've seen people perform in front of places all the time and I've also seen videos of cops fucking with people for street performing.
If I wanted to do it, I'd go do it. I'd just wouldn't cause disruption for the business and be respectful and cooperative if they want you to leave the premises.
Also, don't have a sign that says "tips" or anything like that. Just throw a hat on the ground laying upside down or leave your guitar case open or whatever so people know they can put money in if they want but you can quickly say you weren't doing it for money if worst case scenario happens.

When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Look up busking laws in your area. Downtown in big cities with travelers and stuff are best for this type of stuff. Some cities have statutes against busking without some kind of permit though. Even then, a permit may be easy to acquire. You should also have your craft down well enough to attract attention from more than just the occasional passerby.

Im confident in my skills. I'll walk around town at night and get cheered on by passerbys. People kinda stare in awh because it's a spectacle at night with the set I have. LEDS with 84 different modes and settings. As long as I'm not going to get arrested or a ticket ill give it a go lol

The cop would just have to be in a really really bad mood to give you more than just a warning.
The people I saw in the video didn't, as Patrick mentioned, have a permit which is why the police messed with them. But even then, they just gave him a warning.

Yeah. Busker's licence is $10 - 15 I think, here anyway. Only proviso is you must re-locate every two hours so you don't have any one person squatting on the hot spots and causing fights. Nothin like a couple of buskers going at it. They fight like girls. Don't want to hurt their pretty hands. Usually boils down to a bunch of "so's your mother" and everyone walks away.

Man I'd be nervous I was gonna hit someone in the face with a flame lol, I guess you're confident that won't happen though.
I think it will depend on what kind of plaza. If it's basically an outdoor mall it might be illegal, there's one owner and they might say no poi allowed haha ;D But uh, i'm sure you could find agreat place to do it for tips and not get thrown out

You're going to have to look into local ordinances, there's no clear-cut answer
I've performed in a lot of random places, but music isn't fire poi
