Hello, This is my first attempt and any kind of help advice will be appreciated. Can you check the pic and tell if this jar is fully colonised? It has been waiting for about 2 months now! Can it be given birth?

You mean it has been contaminated? Shouldn't we see colored spots in case of contamination?

It smells like fresh mushrooms. By the way it is brown rice flower and vermiculite... Do you all think that it is fucked up? Thanks again for any contribution.

this isnt really true. if it smells unlike fresh mushrooms, then you DO KNOW that it is contm/bacteria. However, if it does smell like fresh mushrooms, then you DO/CAN NOT KNOW FOR SURE that there is no bacteria/contam. it could still have hidden bacteria/contam, that you dont smell. some types dont smell at all, sometimes. which is why you gotta watch how the myc grows, and look for the signs.
anyways, that jar does appear to be highly bacterial, to my eye. im still noob, but see how the myc is all marshmallow-looking, and almost foamy/bubbly? thats a clear sign of bacteria, usually. Also, the bottom looks like it is either metabolites, or maybe it's just the brf. hard to tell in that pic, to me. ive had some brf hit the glass before, and look similar, though not as much as that. which sorta leads me to think metabolite, maybe.
either way, it looks very suspect.
so you say it smells like fresh mushrooms? does that mean you opened it and are dunking now? or?

It definitely looks bacterial to me. You could probably still get a few fruits off it, but I would probably just toss it.

The FC is ready. Maybe there was too much water in the mixture. Or I over pressure cocked. (90 mins). During the pc the kitchen smelled cocked rice.

Opened it to smell it... Don't know what to do yet. So did not do anything but open, smell and close back the lid.

well, if it's already been opened, ther are only a few options. fruit it, spawn it, or toss it. i would suggest fruiting in a SGFC if you dont have anything else going right now. otherwise i would prolly toss it. i wouldnt spawn it to bulk, since it's obviously bacterial.
heh, thinking about it, though, at this point those are the only options whether it's been opened or not. =p
