Hey
I hope I'm posting in the correct place, please assist if not. I'm in Cape Town, South Africa, my first time growing, first flush and harves, Cubensis Puerta Rican, nice dense shrooms. Could I get a rough estimate on wet and dry weight please?
First image is dried and 2nd and third are just after harvesting.
Thanks

There is really no way to tell what the weight is from a picture.
You could make some sort of counterbalance scale, or just spend a few bucks on one.
If you just want a guess I'll say 4.7 grams, or enough for 4 people to get a buzz or 2 people could get high or one person could possibly trip face.
Nobody can say I don't deliver.

^lol all I can say, those mushrooms do not look "cracker dry", so even if you weighed them with a scale you'd still have no idea.

they clearly are not cracker dry in the "dried picture" so like said above the weight doesn't even matter it won't be correct

Those aren't dried yet. If they are still squishy, they are losing potency. You need to be able to crumble them into a powder with your hands (if you were so inclined)

Kitchen scales don't cut it. They don't weigh fine enough. You want a scale that will weigh in the 10ths, if not 100ths, and that doesn't have a minimum weight before it triggers (some kitchen scales need *grams* just to kick start them. There are lots of pocket size scales that will do the job for you. Check some of the head shops. See the scale in my sig.

yeah man, I never feel like the difference between 2.7 and 2.9 is worth needing that extra decimal point a kitchen scale is fine for shrooms, but if you're like most of us and dabble in other extracurricular activites a good scale is a nice thing to have around.

A prime example came up only a short while ago. Friend and I splitting ~6 g. dried. Wanted to be dead on with the weight so we got an even split. Tried friend's kitchen scale. It weighs in 10ths but had a minimum 10 g load to start it. We ended up using teaspoons and 1 for you 1 for me tek. And, as pointed out, the pocket scale is utilitarian and very portable.

maybe your scale is telling you to eat more
but seriously you wouldn't recommend a pipette for sharing a cup a tea?
I have a kitchen scale that's +/- 2g but I dont bother using it.

If it were just me, I'd normally eyeball it. Or if that had been the situation and it was just me, eat the whole lot and keep a couple of phatties handy.
