Spawned 1pint BRF slurried to roughly 8-10qt Coir, 4qt Verm, Coffee, castings. It's been 12 days or more. Not the beautiful solid white I see you pros with...but better than my first soggy attempt. Around 30qt sterilites btw... Time to fruit?

And I have searched a lot, different views on coir looks when completely colonized....so thanks much in advance! Oh and ones PE the other TC and I didn't label the brf jars....any guesses? CM

16qt is gonna make you work man lol and with that tub you so messy
It looks like you need to maybe wait a day or 2 before inducing fruiting sir but overall it looks pretty much ready to froot
Is it just really wet?

Is misted because I opened it...plus yes, it could be a bit wet. Didn't account for water from slurry. Does the standard sterilite tub provide enough GE or should I switch to super tight poly for the n3xt few days?

Don't mist while it's colonizing, or even before the 1st flush unless it dries out from opening the lid every hour. Monos are not sgfc cakes. Try fruiting it and not opening the lid. Just leave it be and it might make it.

I've only misted once and that was last night as I tried for a little GE, a picture and figured what the hell, a little misting...but yes, MONOS stay sealed...just think it might be time to remove tape from holes and use tight poly...until pins, then loosen up upper poly..if it's time, which is the question. Slurry tek is no B.S. but yes, now that I have a PC next 60qt monos will have 6qt WBS!

Mono looks so bad that it only "might make it" didn't think it was that off...

It's not that its that bad, but it's not fully colonized or healthy for 12+ days either. Fruit it and see if it finishes. A lot of times they need FAE to do such, which is why some prefer to fruit monos at spawn..others wait until they see knots forming. Try removing the tape, stuff with poly, and let it sit for a few more days to a week. If you don't see any progression by then, it's probably contamed or stalled. With that spawn ratio it's a gamble.
