so I just got mine today was super excited , but i immediately noticed the box said not to use on flat top glass stoves
ive been using a 21 qt PC filled with about 10 lbs of rye on it just fine for awhile now
Has anyone ran into this problem , im curious if anyone has actually had their stove break from this or if anyone has been able to just do it any way or if there is some kind of support i should add
The other option I was thinking is a separate burner , if anyone has any experience with this i would be very interested , I bought one a while back but it put out a sad amount of heat so a link to a good one would be awesome.
Is it possible to heat one on a standard outlet , id like to not have to use propane
appreciate any help and your time
have a good one and goood grows to all

I would fill her up and cross my fingers. No way in hell that I'd end up buying an AA and then not even try to use it.
Anyway, you could buy one of those burners that you take with you while camping. Make sure you buy a small one though, if it's too big it will warp the fuck out of your PC. Smaller ones aren't expensive at all.

With propane, just be careful that the flames are not big enough to up the sides of the PC too much or it can warp it pretty bad. AA's are pretty tough but still, better safe than sorry.
The presto manual explicitly says not to use propane burners for this reason.

I was a bit scaried to try on my new glass stove top, but finally it works like a charms. That said it's sad you can't find any weight limit set by the constructor, that would help.

It might be because of how heavy it is and if it will scratch the glass when moving it across or whatever. If that does happen..take a green pad and glass stove top cleaner and it will buff itself out. That is just my guess as to why.

They say on amazon that they are safe to use on glass stove top. but the reviews say otherwise as does the box
