Psilocybe Cyanescens germ...NEED ADVICE PLEASE =)

Good morning shroomery! I was wondering if you could give me advice on cyans? Besides the substrate,(3 lb grain bags as opposed to brf jars).... Are the germ. and colonizing temps the same as cubes? I can't find much information on this specific issue. The reason I ask is should 11 days with no signs of life be raising red flags or am I just being impatient? Lol...

2 weeks for spore germination(or rather visible colonization) is not so uncommon, keep at it. Not sure about temps because these aren't native to my region and I've never cultivated them or even seen a good grow. But maybe 70F is a good neutral start

First ps cyan are cool weather woodlovers. You will not be able to grow them like cubes. They will need a cold shock and cool fruiting temps which are hard to replicate. They also need a lot of FAE which is going to be difficult to provide if you are fruiting them in a wine fridge to provide the cold.
In addition to temp difficulty they also are thought to need a certain microbial interaction to fruit well. This is not confirmed but if it is the case you are going to be hard pressed to provide that indoors.
Finally they seem to really need a long consolidation period. Like 6 months to a year or so. This is hard because their primary substrate of wood is a real magnet for molds. Spawn runs indoors will need to happen very fast and a solid foundation laid down to prevent trich from coming in the back door.
It's not impossible to do indoors, but outdoors in a suitable climate is better for success with them. Cubes would be a far better idea for someone not familiar with the hobby yet.

Guess I will find some place cooler to incubate the bags.
Pasty!! Dude thanks for responding! I feel like im talking to a legend! I'm going to be doing your agar tek this weekend and I Just built my SAB according to TL's tek.
Thank you that was awesomely concise!! I'm not planning on fruiting indoors though, I'm working on establishing an outdoor patch. I'm running some T.C.s and Koh Samui indoor. But I have everything incubating together, ranges from 74 to 84F and Im seeing all sorts of action in the jars but none in the bags.
Although some jars are showing no activity as well.( I think my needle was too hot for the first series as I was flaming to red hot in between each jar and actually melted the plastic attachment to my needle hahahaha....if no activity good(myc)or bad(contam) occurs after 14 days should I re-noc the jars?

I wouldn't reinoculate the same jars. I would start new ones myself.

What do you think my chances of getting pan cinct myc established on cardboard with a cluster of stem butts and myc?

Why not do it on agar if you got the stem butts and myc? You said you're making some lol
Pan cincts are like pretty much any other pan except they grow like weeds. Kinda like the cubes of the pan world.

That's the plan! But I harvested the cincts a couple days ago. And threw the butt in between boiled cardboard since I didn't have everything set up, or agar ready. After doing some research I realize agar is the only way to go, so now im scrambling to make it all happen haha...
I just didn't want to disturb the myc while it recovers...maybe that's not a concern, idk really as I am definitely an over enthusiastic newb lol
