Saw Parkway Drive last weekend, rolling with four of my best mates in the middle of the pit rocking the fuck out The atmosphere was incredible. I've seen a lot of live music but that night takes the cake.
Interested to hear others experiences

Mine has to have been 3 weeks ago when I saw Deep Banana Blackout live at Madsummer Meltdown
They absolutely fucking blew my mind out through the sides of my ears.. I've seen a lot of great bands at that venue over the years but DBB was straight up incredible.. The sheer energy they brought to the venue felt so supernatural that I will never be able to describe it in words
I still remember hearing them start playing shortly after the acid kicked in and I started peaking right around the time I got to the main stage.. They had what must have been 15' bonfire raging high into the sky and I remember feeling like I was part of some arcane ritual as dozens of people all around me just went fucking bonkers and I danced wildly around the fire until I lost myself in the music
I will never forget that experience, it was beyond amazing

Bassnectar, 2008 or '09 in a small overcrowded venue
The amount of people in such a small venue zapped any moisture from your body as soon as you walked in

Godspeed you black emperor in 2012. They'd been my favorite band for years and were fucking incredible. One of the first times I ever smoked weed too.
Saw brand new last weekend too. That was pretty god damn fulfilling too, though it was at a fucking giant amphitheater which was lame

Seeing Dead & Co a few weeks back at Citi Field was probably the best concert I've seen in a while. John Mayer is impressive and Bob Weir sounded a lot better than the past dozen or so times I've seen him. Best concert I've ever seen would probably be Shpongle Live at Camp Bisco. I've seen a lot of other really good shows, but that one stands out the most. I've seen a lot of really good Umphrey's McGee concerts but they kind of all blend into one.

What year? I thought about going to the one that just happened just to see At The Drive-In but I opted not to because I thought a festival in Atlanta in the summer would be brutally hot and not worth it

I'm pretty sure 2014. It was hot as FUCK but totally worth it. Tame Impala was the last set so it was already pretty dark. Earlier in the day was pretty miserable though, I guess I'm just used to it at this point.

Yeah I mean I've lived in Florida for a decade so I can handle any heat at this point, but paying 200 bones to stand around in the sun all weekend is another story.
I do like how it cools off at night in GA. That shit doesn't happen AT ALL in south fl

I saw Tool at lollapalooza at the Gorge in Washington. Sun was setting over the gorge, I was peaking on acid. Maynard came out in drag. Long red hair, stilettos and big fake tits. Started the set with Hooker with a penis (obviously) and it just got better from there.

I listened to Dead 50, it sounded like shit. Dead and Co is much better. John Mayer and Oteil Burbridge really add something to the band. Trey did a mediocre job at best, and Phil's vocals sound like complete shit. It's nice they finally got an amazing guitar player that can sing.

i think Trey is an amazing guitar played who can sing well, Phish is my fave live act out there these days aside from JRAD. His funky style didn't mesh too well with the bluesyness of the Dead tho, and i felt like weir and the drummers were pretty out of sync with each other a lot of the shows. the dead50 shows were still a blast and a great weekend tho, but there was only like 4 song highlights throughout the two shows i was at tbh imo

Actually thinking back on it, one cool experience I had a few years back:
I was on a heavy dose of Molly and Lsd at BearCreek Festival 2009 or 10 and meandered my way thru a crowd of people at Break Science set.
My free flowing direction led me to an opening in the crowd where a completely nude female proceeded to dance like there was no tomorrow
I couldn't believe my eyes, this chick went all out

Trey's vocals are horrible. He's a decent guitar player, but he played the Dead very conservatively. It was pretty boring. Either way, John Mayer is a much more skilled musician than anyone else the Dead has ever played with short of Jerry.

Seeing Brit Floyd and their million dollar light show was pretty damn amazing.
Another high point was staying up all night at Black sheep Family Reunion with The Bridge who played til the sun rose

Brit Floyd was started by one of the guitarists from Aussie Floyd who wanted to start a new project and try and do it "even better"...
Definitely go see them if you get the chance

Phil and friends at red rocks in september 2007. I never found a ticket. I was tripping, listening to the show from outside, with a bunch of other broke ass hippies. During ripple they sing "that path is for, your steps alone", I heard that and decided to do it! I climbed up over the side of the mountain! I got to where I can see the stage, and there's dozens of people hanging out up there. We were able to hear and see the whole rest of the show from way high up over the crowd. And had our own party on the top of the hill.
.......................................................................
Leaving a late night disco biscuits show on the first night of new year's run in NYC at 4am. (2010-11??) We decided it would be a lot more fun to be in Miami seeing phish. So we went to the airport first thing the next day and hopped on the next flight to miami. Arrived to the venue 15 minutes before show time. Spent three days hanging out by the pool and at the beach and saw three phish shows. When we flew back on the first, we met Trey at the airport.

Roger Waters The Wall in Houston the first year he started touring again 2009 I think. My best friend and I ate huge gourmet steaks before, a couple hits of acid, a whole bottle of whiskey each and sat center stage 5th row. At one point Waters has this fake nazi machine gun that he starts firing at the crowd and we stood up on our chairs going nuts. He saw us, turned and mowed us down with it. Fuckin awesome. My buddy and I listened to The Wall since 1st grade so we knew all the words.

maybe the first time i saw streetlight manifesto or when i saw bob weir and ratdog.
streetlight was great cause reel big fish played with them and i went with like 15 friends and like 15 other people were their. it was great. i was also on a lot of molly.
bob weir was crazy as fuck cause i was on 5 hits of great liquid and it felt like i was in a completely different world.
