Shroom finds in Florida Cow Farm
    #23442640 - 07/15/16 12:49 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Habitat:
Cow farm in the middle of florida. Rained 2 days ago and found in a mound of cow feces under a tree. lots of mushrooms (i assume of the same species) growing out of the poop. I provided images of the mound, but when i took them back home I messed up how a lot of them looked.

heres an imgur album of them, but note that the last picture is of a different mushroom on a different mound i found. orangish tip and it had a ring around it aswell.. I hope the picture alone could help you guys specify it, as my camera was pretty bad ):

In the first photo, the 2 larger mushrooms are Psilocybe cubensis, the rest are Panaeolus papilionaceus(not edible or psychedelic)

Thank you so much! I'm going to go back and pick those. Is it safe to eat if it appears a little bitten up from insects?

Yeah no problem at all, sometimes bugs hide in the gills so you can either eat them or put them in the oven on a low temp for 10mins, in which case all the bugs come running out and die. The heat won't affect the potency.
