Datura stramonium
Yeah, definitely don't grow Datura or Brugmansia if you have little ones around that might be near them at anytime. I mean you could grow some nice Brugmansia if you got a specimen that was large enough from the beginning, that way the branches would probably be high enough so the little ones couldn't reach anything, but not a good genus to have around if you have kids.
Here's the wiki page on Datura toxicity, gnarly stuff. I will say this, I have never taken Datura for spiritual purposes, and never will. I tried Brugmansia when I was much younger, and that was enough for several lifetimes.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datura#Toxicity
Some plants are teacher plants, meaning they serve, or have served a spiritual purpose in certain cultures, some still do. I like to get my hands on as many plants that fit this description, just growing them is enough of a kick for me, I love growing something that possesses the power to alter the mind for a bit, so I like Datura for this reason only, plus the thorn apple is cool, and the flowers are really pretty.

Datura for spiritual purposes?

not a big fan of being led into the woods by ring wraiths, having my memory wiped of how i got there, and then being told "i will be theirs forever"
can be mildly alarming.... i mean, spirits were technically there, but....
imo, good move, was enough for infinite lifetimes for me, skopalamine can be quite unfriendly to the mind and memory
true story summarized into one sentence y'all!

I've never taken any nightshade orally, but I smoke dried Datura and Brugmansia leaves or flowers combined with weed and I like it a lot! I use the same ammount of nightshade and weed and mix this with little tobacco, this creates a distinctly enhanced high I prefer to weed alone.
I don't smoke that blend daily but once or twice a week for roughly a year now. I don't feel any negative effects so far.

The poppy seeds I started indoors totally paid off. Their pods are note huge and will get a great seed harvest.

Am proud to say that my Titan Arum has bloomed. It is not a (super giant) sized variety but as you can see the flower is quite large. It does smell like rotting meat and my dog had been eyeing it lol. Enjoy!

Kat that is awesome!
I have a couple Amorphophallus konjac bulbs i need to plant. How long did it take from planting of the bulb to flower? I am extremely jealous of you right now!
Is it outside? I live in the south and have heard it is too hot to grow outdoors
