Never underestimate

Woke up this morning and decided to eat a piece of fresh fruit. I plucked a single mushroom that had just torn it's veil and ate it. The taste was very familiar as I've eaten fresh before, but I struggled to swallow the mass so I chased it down with some kombucha. Now, I read that kombucha is acidic so I was hopeful that this would help the mushroom along it's journey through my gut. Boy, was I right. The mushroom was not very large, maybe as tall at a bic lighter and about as thick as the tip of my pinky finger, the cap was about the size of a nickel, still bell shaped with veil still slightly attached.
I noticed a come up about 30 minutes in and knew this would be no micro dose that I had planned. I could feel my brain changing as the rush of psilocin flooded my head. The all to familiar feeling in the skull, wobbly legs and yawns, sticky mouth and that taste... You know what I'm talking about. At about the hour mark I defiantly felt stoned so I checked my pupils just to have a look and confirmed with some dialation. The room was distorted in that Alice in wonderland look, some minor breathing effects and some astounding mosaic patterns on the ceiling. More than I had bargained for but much to my pleasure.
As usual, I laid down in bed and covered up with a blanket to ride some time out and just tried to let go and be aware of the changes I was experiencing, both physically and mentally. My belly was a bit upset so I lay in bed until I felt comfortable enough to get up after about 45 minutes.
After about 2 hours or so I was feeling hungry so I made a salad. Took me a good hour to eat it, chewing throughly, tasting the bitter kale and brussel sprouts, picking out the sweet blue berries and just enjoying the colors of the salad. I use chopsticks which brings along with it a very primitive feeling, although they're stainless steel. I was still a little nausus so I smoked some cannabis wax every few bites and it really helped.
I started noticing I was coming back to base line after about 4 hours, it's been about 6 now and feel completely sober. I feel great, just watching some cartoons to lighten the mood.
Just thought I would share.

That must have been a nice sized shroom you ate. I could never muster up the courage to eat shrooms off my cakes without weighing them first.

If I had to guess, it was probably around 8g wet, though it was pretty meaty stem.
