Alright I would like to ask you guys a question. What would be the perfect diet to have a few months before a magic mushroom experience. What would be yours?

Mine personally would be food made from scratch. I'm working towards a vegan diet but vegetarian at the moment so I'd probably make whatever the first 2 weeks (pizza from scratch, stuffed manicotti, etc.) then the third week I'd eat healthier, and then the last week I'd do a raw vegan diet.
I'd use really simple ingredients for all of my cooking.
To be honest though, I isually just eat a basic vegan diet for about a week and then I'll do my high dosage.
But that's how I'd do it ideally for a month of prep. I drink a lot of organic green tea with pure honey.

The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Few months? Shit idk. I would think it only matters in the coming weeks, specially 2 to 3 weeks before the trip.
The number one thing I tell people is to not have any alcohol in your system. People often ignore this and think of this as bullshit but I think if you want to do them right you should be at least a week if not 2 weeks completely sober from booze. Would also avoid a lot of caffeine. Eat more fruit, foods with lots of color.

Eat anything you want - no need to diet. Especially not months before hand. If you want to go deeper try fasting the day of or even the day before (or as long as you like - fasting can be very powerful, but also be careful if youre not used to fasting).
Eat healthy normally if you are concerned about foods - no need for vegan or vegetarian unless you want to be, but eating healthy foods is never a bad idea and it is easy to be healthy whether or not you eat meat. I know my wife was vegan for 7 years and it was killing her body until she added meat back in.... So some people might resonate better with different diets.
There is no evidence raw is healthier. For example - you can eat 20 times more spinach if it is cooked. Even people calling themselves raw often add oil or vinegar to veggies and salads which is actually cooking them to help them digest (that is why the lettuce will wilt with oil/vinegar if not eaten). Raw foods and especially raw veggies are actually hard for your body to digest and you have to spend much more time eating to get the same nutrients (humans grew larger bodies and brains when we learned how to cook because this gave us access to more nutrients). Plants have really strong cell walls so it helps to cook them and break those down.
Raw meat coincidentally is actually easier to digest then cooked because it has enzymes that get cooked off which help you digest the protein better. You gotta get it fresh though.

I was just saying what I personally would do like he asked thanks for tying to debunk my whole answer
Also, I'm sure it was the vegan diet making your girlfriend feel like shit not the fact she was probably still eating crap.

No. She ate really healthy - mostly fresh fruits and veggies and grains that I cooked from scratch for us. She was even seeing an Ayurvedic and naturapathic doctor for nutrition advice and it wasnt enough to help. She tried supplements and all kinds of diet additions, but only thing that really worked was when she added meat back into her diet.
I actually know a number of people who saw specialists and still couldnt be healthy on vegan diets, yet got healthier when they started eating meat again. Some peoples bodies really dont respond well to long term veganism.
But keep making ignorant claims based on no knowledge about people you dont know. Makes you look real smart.

Personally my diet consists of a traditional ayahuasca diet, for a week or so I cut out all meat, oil, fat, sugar, salt, dairy and have no sex or masturbation. I find if I clean and clear my body right out and "purify" it then the medicine has nothing else but myself to work on. I find that's my best way to have an amazing experience.
Peace, Sillycybe.

I find there is a sweet spot for fasting. For example, I find that if I skip dinner i'll get a gnawing hunger pain that can definitely have a slight impact on a trip. Generally, once you have fasted over 6 hours you don't get those hunger pangs. However, I really don't feel like eating after a trip, so i'm usually pretty exhausted if I do it this way.
In regards to diet, I don't really change it up dramatically before a trip. No need to "detox" when you don't toxify in the first place. Can't go wrong with a whole foods, plant based diet.
