New contamination for me?

Not sure what this is. Haven't done any digging yet, just putting it here in case the answer well known and I've just never come into contact with it. Looks neat, though.

Using antibiotic agar. Healthy P. Cubensis mycelium is slightly out frame.

Some odd looking mold for sure. I ain't got any idea but I can tell ya satellites like that are from poor procedure :wink:

I had two plates fall off of the rack from the vibration of the flowhood on the table. Rookie, mistake, but I'm assuming that's where this came from. Neat looking mold, though.

Hey guys have one jar of wbs that has some small rust colored spots in the bottom...it doesn't seem to expanding or appearing in any other jars..just wondering if anyone has seen it before.

That doesn't look good. I'd spawn that to its own bulk tray and fruit it separately. Otherwise, I'd toss it.

Not sure about that. Aspergillus flavius usually has a different growth pattern. Bubbly/scaley look, like yellow trich.

Thanks man..yeah Im just glad its not in all the rest...they were noced up using multispore... just waiting for the tops to cover over with myc... my jars noced with my first lc are almost done as well..

Yeah I'm not tossing this plate. I had considered putting some of it to a pint of grain to see what it would do.
