Is this contamination? [fruiting phase]
    #23440333 - 07/14/16 09:25 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Hello forum people -- A friend of mine is 5 days into her fruiting phase (first time growing) and two of her cakes are really active already. But she's noticed some white fuzz at the base of the stems (see pics). Do you think this is some kind of mold or just normal?

Thanks!

That sure is sweet of you to make an account and ask for your friend.

That's normal.  Might indicate bacteria but still edible.

Looks good to me.  Just fuzzy feet.
