Shrooms fruiting conditions!!

Im in hungary (central europe) and the summer is pretty hot (30-35°C sunny days and 18-25°C nights) but yesterday we got a thunderstorm and temps dropped to 15°C, lots of rain. It started raining at 7pm yesterday and today at 1pm i went looking for shrooms. I looked at wood mulch, dead leaves, forest ground, small grass, bigg grass ,manure (basicly every kind of substrate for mushrooms) but i only found a little brown mushroom in 3h of searching in all those different areas. So basically my question is if the conditions for fruiting of any mushroom are meeting but the season isnt right will shrooms still pop out? (Having a autumn like weather and lots of rain in summer with right temps) So if all the things than happen in autumn happened in summer because of a storm ( it will rain for 3 more days) will i find psilocybin containing mushrooms that fruit in autumn or spring? Or they just fruit in a given time of year? I read that if it was dry for a long time the shrooms will need a couple days to pop after rain so maybe i didnt wait enought. But can someone answer my question please? Thanks for the help

Forum Rules said: 4. Do not ask about current finds in your area. These posts have been flooding the forum for years. If you're curious about if mushrooms are growing in your area, get out there and look! Mushrooms don't read the books. Sometimes they fruit outside of season. There is no set date for any season, only vast generalizations. Your best bet is that if it's close to the season for the mushroom you are looking for and its been raining, you just might find some.
5. Do not make threads or posts discussing or reporting the weather. This includes complaining about the weather, asking if the current weather is "good for shrooms", or how long to wait after rain fall to go hunting. If it has rained within the last 1-10 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, and the time of year is correct then it is certain that that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
6. No asking when or where mushrooms, or a specific mushroom species will grow. This includes, asking what habitat a mushroom[s] can be found- or their preferred fruiting conditions. This can be very simply answered by using the "search posts" feature: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/search.php

I searched and didnt find a thing about if a mushroom can grow in a different season than it is supposed to given the good conditions. And im asking about weather because i said its summer here but we got a storm and the conditions are autumn-like with a drop in temps. The number 5 rule said "and the time of the year is correct" and its not... This is what i am asking. Maybe someone can answer me?

No one will be able to answer this with any degree of certainty, you should just go look.

Ok so i just read about this. Some people say mushrooms need just the good conditions (rain, humidity, temps ect..) to grow and the conditions happen normally in a specific season. But if they do occur in a different season than normally they will grow because mushrooms just need the conditions. Others say that even if the conditions are right and its not the good time of the year the mushrooms wont fruit. Can someone clear this for me because i dont want to look for shrooms that just cant be friiting now. Thanks

I did research to know what is the kind of soil by the plants growing on it. And it seems that i have very very good spots for mushrooms like really good ones. Some wood shavings with some manure and a perfect fertile soil (based on color and weeds growing there) Some manure on lawns and fertilized lawns. Dead leaves mixed with wood shavings and straw. Compost pile. Rotting hay. Horse dung mixed with straw. But i didnt find any mushroom anywhere!!!!! (Just found about 40 pan foes in a field) so the conditions are good for mushroom growth but WHY ??? why cant i find a single mushroom in so different soils. It rained 2days ago and it will for 2 more days starting tonight. The only mushrooms i found are one reishi and a couple russula(in a forest) and the foes. But all the perfect places for many diffeerent psilocybin containing shrooms are empty why? Is there something i am missing? Please help. Thanks.

Just because an area is perfect for something doesn't mean that something is guaranteed to grow there, that's not how it works.

Only the mushrooms themselves will "know" when and where conditions are perfect.
You have to consider that the scientific mapping of the fungal realm is still more or less in its infancy, and the minute knowledge we possess is slight when it comes to understand this lifeform.
So your question 'why' is really not answerable - unless you want more "vast generalisations", to quote Gumby.

Okay thanks guys but is there a page that help me understand how the mushrooms form like how the spore gets to mycelium state then fruiting especially for psilocybin containing mushrooms because i cant find info about this. Like how does a wood loving psilocybe for exemple fruits in a specific place and not another. (Not like the ones in dung where the spores go through an animal because he ate some) I searched in different places for at least 8-9h so far but its really cool i love hunting shrooms i think i will just keep searching Thanks.
