odd mycelium growth? should i proceed spawn to bulk?

its been about a month and a half since i inoculated 7 quart jars of golden teacher purchased from ralphsters. there practically done but im growing a bit suspicious regarding the growth itself seeing as how the mycelium is fluffy and cottony for the majority of the growth and then begins to get stringy and fiber like towards the last 20% of growth giving it a spotty appearance. it looks like it refuses to grow in those last little spots as they've remained that way for a couple of weeks already, especially visible in one jar pictured below. is growth pattern normal? could i have a contamination? how do i know for sure? thanks shroomery community

Those are highly bacterial. though you'll likely get fruits when spawned, I'd recommend putting you tubs outside. because those are likely to get some funk goin' on. Know what I'm sayin'? :fucking:

what makes you say highly bacterial? is it that they wont grow in those spots? what mistake could i have made? so i should still try, placing them out side?

well if you took a spore syringe to grain, I'd say it's that. But there could be many, many reasons. Point is: bacteria won't inhibit some fruits to grow. Mold will definitely. Should get something. Pray to

I wouldn't spawn that. its not even 100% colonized. if I had to guess there is yeast in there as well as bacteria. would probably push pin mold thru cvg if you spawned it. thats just my experience with this kind of stuff.
case it if you must, but I would just toss that shit and start over.

well damn ill give it shot, ill just take extra precautions next time around. for future purposes what is the dead giveaway sign that its bacteria? the puffy to stringy growth or last lack of growth?

when the grains look like titties on the glass, you have bacteria. when the white looks like cottage cheese, you have bacteria. only real way to learn is by spawning your spawn. Real talk.

well then you didn't try very hard because there has been literally thousands of posts of bacterial spawn. I'd say it happens multiple times every day. try again and actually use the search features like contains images and trusted cultivators
