Man Buns 1

I was recently in Europe, and they were everywhere. Like 1 out of 5 men had one. Not even the cool ones that guys with long hair have, but these pussy-ass little bonbons on the crown with the hair shaved around it. Looks like a damn cookie jar. undercuthairstyle.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/A-picture-of-a-cool-man-bun-undercut-hairstyle-sported-by-a-hipster.jpg

Don't you know man?? Man buns are all the rage right now, along with beards, dad bods, dogs, fedoras, and Yolo shirts.

I don't mind it.
A guy at my work pulls it back like that after he clocks in. It's kind of cute, me thinks. But I'm not too picky about hair.

I don't understand why this is such a big deal to people
It reminds me of veganism, so many people seem to hate them because they find it somehow inherently pretentious when they're really the ones being assholes 90% of the time.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. If I saw just one guy with this haircut I'd think "ok, it's his hair, he can do what makes him happy." I don't understand how it became a fad, however. I made this thread after I read my buddy's sister's college essay about how man buns are an indication of changing gender roles or some bullshit like that.
I can't believe how deep this discussion is getting.

If man buns are an indication of changing gender roles then what did it mean when all the dudes started shaving their faces to be as smooth as the ladies, and now how the trend has shifted to beards? Your friend is retarded.

man buns have been in existence since man himself. Its very Eastern, perhaps its just a new wave of eastern invasion along with this whole new age scene?

My hair reaches to about halfway down my back. I usually keep it tied up in a bun during the day in summer. It's really just sensible to do when you have long hair and have stuff to do imo.
