Is this edible?

I think this is a Leccinum possibly aurantiacum. Looking for confirmation
North east Wisconsin on leaf litter cap about 8 cm across pores stem with scabers, solid brown bruise spore print being made.
I've read mixed reports about some of the Leccinum species regarding toxicity. Can someone give this specimen a species name from my pictures? Any word about toxicity?

It is edible. But I'm not sure if it will kill you or not. Wait for another poster

I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

I think Leccinum is correct. Are you able to determine the mycorrhizal symbiont?

It is a Leccinum.
The still undescribed toxic species is orange capped and grows with aspen trees. Yours certainly has an orange cap, so were there aspen trees there? If so, then it might be the poisonous species. If there were no aspens anywhere nearby, then you should be ok. Of course, even if it is an ok species, be sure to very thoroughly cook it before eating, as all Leccinums will make you sick if undercooked.

Some aspen in the area- I didn't pay attention to closest trees.
I didn't eat it.
Thanks for replies
