Mexican Mushroom Tour September 14 - 17

Hi -
I am leading a mushroom hunt in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve in Queretaro, Mexico on Sept 14 - 17.
This is my third year hunting in the Sierra Gorda, and it's a pretty nice place. It's 6 hours north of Mexico City and has lots of beautiful forests, with almost no police or crime.
The trip is really well priced, at $350 and includes transportation, food and lodging. I am volunteering my time to lead it so all profits can go towards nature conservation. The tour leaders all speak English and Spanish.
The plan is to go to various places and pick mushrooms, then later on take the mushrooms to tiny restaurants where they will make authentic Mexican food with our finds.
There are some pretty cool people going this year including Alonso, an expert on Psilocybe and bioluminescent mushrooms.
To get there you'd fly into Mexico City or Queretaro and take a bus to Jalpan.
After the trip ends I'll be leading another low cost tour to some neat Psilocybe spots in the cloud forests of Jalisco or Veracruz or Oaxaca.
Here's the info, let me know if you have any questions.

Sounds like an awesome time. Wish I could join you but won't be in Mexico until January. Enjoy.

Hey Alan, how soon after the first tour will you lead the other low cost tour to interesting Psilocybe spots? Will it be right after, since you'll already be in Mexico, or weeks/months later? And will that one be about 4 days as well?

Right after. My schedule is pretty open after that, my plan is to hunt until the rains stop and then head to a biohacker space in California to do DNA barcoding on all of the mushrooms that I found this year.
