Social Experiments
    #23436876 - 07/13/16 03:06 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I'm not really sure if the term can apply but.. When I'm out shopping or walking down streets or whatever. I like to do or say spontaneous things to strangers to see how they react. I love telling cashiers "Look out for the synchronicities!" Most of them act like they didn't hear it,  probably not knowing how to respond so they ignore it.  Some will ask what I mean, and then get a huge smile on their face when I explain. A few awesome people immediately smile and respond like "yeaahh brother!" Totally getting it. It's a fun little "social experiment".

I'm always trying to think of new spontaneous ways of interacting with strangers, to stand out,  and hopefully leave an impression on them,  to gain that confidence to express some spontaneity, to not be a freaking robot like so many people I see dragging their feet like zombies out in the world. It has lead to some amazing conversations sometimes.

I also really like collecting high fives when I'm in the mood. That will put huge smiles on peoples faces, the ones that don't deny me like I don't exist.
:feelsgoodman:

So do you actively conduct any social experiments yourself? Have you ever? Any fun stories?  Please share! :ancientaliens:

Nice dude! Spread the psychedelia :mushroom2:

Ive done a social experiment kinda.

When cashiers ask for my ID when buying beer, i say "Take a guess". Most are afraid to take the guess

I like social experiments. Sometimes I'll hide in a rack of clothes at Walmart and when someone comes up looking at the clothing on said rack I'll politely hand them a size i'd suggest them to wear. They get scared at first but it  usually turns into a nice conversation about how weird I am

I try to keep telemarketers on the phone for as long as humanely possible.  I have this indian scammer called "the pharmacy" calling me all the time.  They are always trying to get my CC number.  I stayed on the phone with this dude for over 7 minutes trying to get him to sell me crack:

It's definitely one of my better ones.

I have quite a few that are pretty good.

When i was deep into the heroin i had this "friend" who would rob old people at ATMs at night with a loaded syringe full of his own blood he sucked up a few minutes beforehand. Hed threaten them with HIV or something

Kid is always in and out of programs.

He has a job and has been clean awhile now. Grew up with him. He tried robbing me once in my car but i wouldnt give up my dope and we just kept throwing punches until we were both too tired to do anything. I went home and got high

It's pretty hardcore you knew someone like that

I like hearing about people with the balls to do stuff like that. It's fucked up, but fascinating what people can and will do.

I need to go collect hugs one da,,  go down to the beach, and ask everyone for hugs. That will be an amazing day. These social experiments are magick

Yeah. Who hasn't at least once. Inside those circular racks are miniature man caves. You'd be surprised how populated those racks actually are

I used to hide in the womens bathroom naked and climb under stalls and yell "suprise!" while they were pissing/shitting. Some got mad but it was ok when i told them it was a social experiment

Get drug baggies and put powdered sugar in them. Let them fall out of your pocket on accident in public areas, then scope out the hilarity.
