How rapid was the bluing reaction?  I think you may have Boletus sensibilis or similar there.

Almost instant on the tubes themselves and the base of the stems. The flesh and upper portions of the stem were a slower burn. After poking and scraping the flesh with my fingernail, maybe 15 to 20 seconds before any reaction, then several minutes to get to the stage in pics.

Yeah, I think it's B. Sensibilis. Bicolor bruises more slowly and it's bluing is restricted mostly to the pores.
