Causing mycelium to go rhizomorphic
    #23436474 - 07/12/16 11:09 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I have tried switching media, cutting my lme in half, I can't think of what else I can do to make a plate of myc go rhizomorphic.

I only want to do this so to ensure I'm not transferring mold to new plates as I'm not very good at telling tomatose mycelium from certain types of mold on plates.

What else can I go to cause a plate to go even slightly rhizomorphic?

I would just clone a fruit but with my recent outbreak of psuedomonis that doesn't seem like a great idea

You could've had a big one for #240 but you chose this tired old topic?

Maybe you don't even have cube mycelium on the plate to begin with

Well my ps. Sub is rhizomorphic by nature.

And it's on all my plates and I just harvested a tub so I assume it's cube myc unless I've somehow bred cube myc and mold by having contam issues for so long.

BTW using jars instead of bags solved my bacteria issue
