The great adventures taken alone

I have been tripping for 6 years all together.
I have been tripping alone for a little over a year now.
I used to trip with my best friend A LOT but he moved and I had to get into the groove to trip by myself.
After months of always being nervous as fuck I started uping the dosage.
I really just like dosing and meditating until I'm tripping so hard I have to walk/run around with my dog for hours hahahaha.
I find I can trip super fucking hard alone and just dive in and feel at peace.
I honestly have no complaints. I hope in the future I will find someone to join me but that in itself is VERY hard to find. Not all of my friends are cool with tripping or would be to afraid to trip.
The ideal scenario is for me to find a girlfriend that would trip with me.
What about you guys you like solo or with people?
Also what do you like to do?

I love tripping by myself at high doses. Ive been solo tripping for about 4-5 years, but up to about a year ago i also had a tripping buddy for some trips. Now though i only trip with people who have taken a mg or so of lsd (it seems that way anyway) we just sit on the couch and a few hours later manage to start talking about whats going on

I used to trip with a friend, but these days I much prefer tripping alone.
I can do as much introspection as I want, I can explore whatever I want, I don't have to baby sit someone else, it's just much nicer, at least for me. When tripping with someone I can never fully let go and fully enjoy the trip.

When you're with people you truly trust and are comfortable around, then you can let go almost as much as when alone.
We'll just sit and zone off into our respective trips at times when it gets really deep, and occasionally try to communicate XD

I trip alone for the majority. My gf and best friend would eat mushrooms with me every once in awhile but they don't enjoy them anymore so I indulge alone and I actually prefer it. Less distraction less things to ground me to reality.

Hey guys! First post here, I've been lurking for a while but here I am!
My first experience was 13 years ago at the age of 14. I did a gram of shrooms that I was given by a co-worker. I took them at the end of the worknight and by the time I got home I was having a pretty good time. Spent the night listening to music and watching the darkness ripple around me (I was tripping with the lights off). After a while I spent the rest of the trip on MSN messenger telling my friends how cool shrooms are .
I have tripped many times both alone and with friends. The best of times can be had either way. Tripping alone can give a lot of introspection and spiritual thoughts/feelings. In my opinion you sometimes trip harder this way and just get lost in your own thoughts. Tripping with friends can lead to some good bonding times or simply some good all around laughs. It gives the chance to talk about what you are seeing or experiencing which is a plus in it's own way.
USUALLY when I am tripping with others I tend to take less just to get the euphoria and giggles. In fact, the last time I did shrooms me and a buddy only took a gram and went to the bar (when I am tripping balls I can't stand being around 'normal' people, I get this weird perspective that sober people are aliens and that people who are tripping are the only 'humans' left on earth). With the exception of the time me and another buddy took a half oz and went down to the beach, man was that a trip lol.
Don't sweat it if you are the only one you know who trips at the moment. The things can be so much fun alone. Eventually you will find another tripping buddy to share the experience with. You never know who you have around you who might be willing to trip out and has simply never had the gumption to get up and find some! I recently found out my straight edge younger brother has always been curious as to what shrooms are all about! I just wish I was able to get some right now so I could show him.

I love tripping solo with higher doses 5g+ But tripping with my girlfriend is always fun. I tend to go for lower doses if with someone else I find solo trips so much more powerful and complex! You're right, you can take it at your own pace and feel really comfortable.

I like people, in small doses. I like an out- I want to be able to disappear for a while jf I. Mmmeel like coming back. I only like to be either with one other person, or a small group like 2- 3.
I love to trip alone , in my bed with the covers on. You kinda drift in and out of sleep watching the CEVs, you can go deep asking questions, thinking.
Sometimes I get lonely though.. it seems stupid later but sometimes Ill get the amplified emotion that Im all alone tripping and that I feel lonely, and I wish there was someone there.
Or Ill get bored and the emotion become amplified.
This is why I like DMT so much, its psychedelic almost meant to be used alone in bed. And its short actibg

Omg soooo true. My 2nd rule of tripping is not to go into public places because sober people make me feel uncomfortable. For example I used to trip balls at my old town and ride my bike through the neighborhoods. Since I feel like I have super vision and can pick up on EVERYTHING. I would notice if someone was pissed off or gave me a glaring look and it would be the most intense 3 seconds of my life. I can pick up and read and FEEL everyone's emotions. The only people that are normal would be anyone else that's tripping. Also watching sober people do any sort of regular or normal task is almost painful to watch how slow people perform. When I'm tripping I feel like there's not one problem I couldn't solve with 10,000 different approaches to any situation hahaha.
Sometimes when I'm sober I create make believe scenarios in my head. When tripping sometimes I will create the most complex and almost trick myself into believing them. Kinda like when you were a kid and you would play make believe but it's kinda actually happening gahaha.
Ok now I just sound like I have taken way to many doses
Good day. Many more trips to come. Not stopping anytime soon

all the things you described - I get pretty much the same feeling. Except I want to try to go out into public more and try to fight the anxiety. I want to see if it will help me with my day to day anxiety.
haha you reminded me of this past weekend I was tripping and decided to go for a nature walk - I happened to walk by some guys working on a house and noticed how slow they were working and was thinking of like 100 different reasons and ways they might approach me, and my planned reaction.

Mushrooms especially I won't dose with people who are not like minded. Otherwise I'd prefer to be in silence or nature so I can hear more clearly what the mushroom wants to tell you.

yeah I feel this
I used to trip with my gf and we would both take around 3 grams in nature, was very peaceful and we would both sit next to each other going into our own little seperate worlds. I know friends who just talk about how they are feeling it every five seconds but that just brings them back into reality and is very grounding. I think the real learning is done when you go with the flow and you lower sensory stimulation. Just imagine shrooms inside of a sensory deprivation tank

Yes, most places won't hire until you're 15 because of government benefits, but I found a family owned restaurant willing to hire me.

I had some great trips with groups of people. I had two best friends and we would always trip together. We were 3-piece band and we called ourselves "Invadors of death", or IOD for short. We would trip and make music, I have 36 year old cassettes of our jams. We sucked, but it was fun.
In college I had some awesome group trips. 4-5-6 of us, all tripping together in the dorm. We'd go for our journeys around the campus, run into other people who were tripping. University of Hartford, 1981. There was plenty of cannabis and LSD to be had. Tons of people tripping on the weekends. Girls tripping. It was great.
After that I got really sick of tripping with other people. Those trips were fun but they were also a waste. I didn't get anything out of them other than a good time. When I started tripping alone, that's when I started to get the best experiences. Late at night, in the dark with headphones. No one looking at me, nobody to try and communicate with. Being alone really frees things up.
