Few simple questions - lvl 5 experience

Hello guys.
I have tripped on mushrooms well enough that I would experience ego death, total loss of time, things like that - I would say around a level 3 trip. What happens to a person when they get to level 4-5 and undergo out of body experiences? While you are seeing crazy shit happening in front of your eyes, are you still able to know where you are and what you are doing with your body? Like do you still see the room you are in or you are taken into a totally different world with your eyes? Are you conscious of your surroundings? If you experience a loss of reality, isn't it possible to do something stupid, dangerous? Like open a window and just jump out? I know mushrooms are not like salvia, but still. I'm planning on taking a very big dose on my own, home alone, and I know the experience will be more intense than any of the tens of trips I've had in the past. Should I be worried?
I would also want to ask a few simple questions with regards to cultivation. I believe there is no point of creating new threads in proper categories just to do that.
- What do you guys do with fuzzy feet? Cut it off, eat it? - Can you harvest twice from one flush? For example, some shrooms are bigger than the other, so you take the bigger ones out, wait for smaller ones to grow and then pick them off once they reach the full size, before dunking the cake and trying with another flush? - Why is it that on my mycelium cake, there are tens of mushrooms growing in like a circle around the edges, but there are barely any pins in the middle?
Thanks a lot for any answers.

I'd say you've experienced close to or a lv5 already, if you have reached ego death etc. You'll know when you do. With me, when I've dosed 5+g dried Liberty caps, it's been like no other trip I've had once I've peaked. Indescribable really. The last time I tripped was on my own, 6g and great music.. I'm sure you have your own stuff you like to do while tripping. As I peaked my visuals got so detailed, in some sort of a watchtower. I could see a city from the Windows, which I could sense were going the whole way around me, and I could no longer feel my sofa on my back. (I haven't really explained this well, sorry)
But don't worry about flipping out and jumping out a window. If you are worried, I once read about writing post-it notes on things you don't want to touch/open. I think it's quite a good idea.
You say you've tripped loads before so you already know what to expect, you've had enough experience to treat yourself to upping your dose!! Just take it slow, stop worrying and you'll be fine. Just enjoy yourself.
Let us know how you get on

Thanks for answers guys. I always considered ego death to be more around level 3. My experience with tripping in the past will definitely help me get prepared for this big dose. I've went through some of the scariest trips before, but not to the point where I'd lose touch with reality and be in a completely different world, which is what level 4 and 5 seem to be (out of body experiences). I'm just afraid of being unaware that I'm doing something with my body when my mind is in a different place. You know, something similar to sleepwalking. Some people on intense salvia trips seem to do that. It's just the part of shrooms that I haven't experienced yet and I don't know what to fully expect. But I do know that nothing dangerous can happen on them. I want to have an intense, but a safe trip at the same time. But yeah, I've had a lot of types of experiences on different doses and in all kinds of settings, so that will help. I will definitely report on the trip.

Make sure there is no guns etc. Things that you could hurt yourself or others with. Maye unplug your oven too so you dont burn the house down???
I had this one trip and it went south. I wanted to kill myself. If there was a gun in the house i defiantly would have killed my self. Scary shit.

I wouldn't worry about doing anything crazy.
I usually do it in the dark. But I've done a high dose trip in the light a couple of times and basically I was seeing full 3-Dimensional and "4-Dimensional" hallucinations right in front of my eyes. The hallucinations basically put me in a trance and I basically was not aware of being in my room. But you do sort of go back and forth between realizing you're in a familiar place and then being sucked in by the hallucinations.
When I do it in the dark at high doses basically the best part for me is when I get hallucinations where I see things that make me say "That's imfuckingpossible!!". You see things that are so complex and made out of material that doesn't exist in our ordinary world that you are left with the feeling that the things you see are made out of magic or something.
Sometimes I speak very loudly too. Some people say that the mushrooms have a voice. For me it's like they always speak through me. And I speak coherent sentences that are sort of explaining the hallucinations in a way, but I'm not consciously trying to speak. It just comes out. Sometimes I get to the point where I'm not even speaking English anymore. I'm just making some cool Glossolalia alien-language noises.
But yeah. That's what I get, anyway.

I have never thought about harming myself on trips as high as ten strips of L.
I trust myself if i loss consciousness and trust that i would do anything but lay back and enjoy the ride.
Ive never been found naked walking outside, or anything of the sort and def have hit level 5 trips.
Id say your intention going in is very important. Meditate and breath. Set and setting.

Yes and no. Both at the same time, sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes neither.

Are you conscious of your surroundings?
Again, yes and no. Hopefully, on some level. Most of the time, usually to a certain degree.

Absolutely this is a danger, but it depends on the person. Different people react very differently under high dose psychedelics. Most people just want to lock themselves in a dark room and lay down, but some people become scared and try to escape or scream, others even become violent.
My pet theory is that it's linked to the fight or flight response. Someone who is biologically geared towards flight hides in a dark room, someone geared toward fight not so much...

Should I be worried?
You should treat high dose psychedelics with the seriousness and respect they deserve. You don't have to be worried, but you do need to be careful and responsible even when your mind is completely obliterated.
Shulgin once said that an experienced psychonaut is someone who can remember to feed cats while under the influence. This is just a cute little joke of course, but it illustrates the importance of being able to be responsible even when your mind is blown.
