How would you choose to die if you could?

Macey's bike thread just got me thinking about it. I reckon a nice quick heart attack after a mind blowing orgasm would be pretty damn sweet, if maybe not so much for your partner...
A quick death riding one of my bikes would definitely be next for me. Followed a close third by the Huxley method:
"LSD, 100 µg, intramuscular"
What about you?

It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe

Not at all
Seriously though, I don't care how it goes down, I just want it to be quick and painless. I am so not down for the whole dying slowly and painfully thing. Also dying alone sounds terrible, I would want to be surrounded by family and loved ones, of which I hope to have many by the time I'm ready to go *crosses fingers because nothing in life is a guarantee*
So in other words, I would like to die fully prepared for death and surrounded by loved ones, but also quickly and painlessly without drama, because I have unrealistic expectations
I'd say that I'd like to die asleep in the arms of my soulmate, but then they would wake up hugging a corpse and that sounds pretty traumatic.
Ok, dying just sounds terrible. I would just not die at all if I had the choice. End of discussion.

I imagined there'd be a few who find the whole topic pretty morbid. I get it. I've spent the last 7-8 years of my life working to come to terms with my eventual death. I don't get the impression many take on the task in their time here.
I think it started after my mum had a brief struggle with cancer. I saw how afraid to go she was and to this day it pains me so much when I see that in her. I'm determined to be ready to face it and know I did the best I could with my time here when my number comes up. Like this:
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride! --Hunter S. Thompson
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home. --Chief Tecumseh
We hate gladiators if they are keen to save their life by any means; we favour them if they openly show contempt for it. You must realize that the same thing applies to us: for often the cause of dying is the fear of it. Dame Fortune, who makes sport with us, says 'Why should I preserve you, base and fearful creature? You will only receive more severe wounds and stabs as you don't know how to offer your throat. But you will both live longer and die more easily, since you receive the blade bravely, without withdrawing your neck and putting your hands in the way. He who fears death will never do anything worthy of a living man. But he who knows that this was the condition laid down for him at the moment of his conception, will live on those therms, and at the same time he will guarantee with a similar strength of mind that no events take him by surprise. For by foreseeing anything that can happen as though it will happen he will soften the onslaught of all his troubles, which present no surprises to those who are ready and waiting fo them, but fall heavily on those who are careless in the expectation that all will be well. --Seneca the younger

Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. You would think dying in your sleep is the best way to go and the most peaceful. Plus they say your release DMT when you die so it would probably be a really trippy dream kind of thing. Who knows

How do Wizards die? Do they evanesce to a parallel universe, just vanish without a trace from here? Wipe out Neo Tokyo with me as I evolve into a higher being? Or quite pedestrian, get a garden variety disease and die quietly?
I intend to experience the technological singularity and merge with it, transition from carbon to silicon in my lifetime.

I'd tie a sharp metal cable around my neck and jump inside a mall populated mainly by children and teenagers.
That way some of them would be traumatized by the view of my distorded body and i'll live on in their nightmares.
They will also grab a few photos with snapchat or instagram and tag me #feelingfeisty #gracefulneck.
My other way to die would be to catch ebola in Africa then travel back to New York or something to attend a huge event like the superbowl where i'd mix my foul contaminated fluids into the drinks i serve to the customers at the deli.

So that my death would benefit others, truly benefit others, that they would become something greater from my death, or gain some important knowledge/wisdom from it, that others would see their value, that others would see they're loved, if my death could bring that about, then so be it, that would be a good death.
How that would come about, I don't know, but I am ready for it when it does come, it's only death, and not to be feared.

A B83 set to the full 1.2 megatons going off directly overhead

Carnivore - Ground Zero Brooklyn
Home watching Star Trek Everythings okay Little do I know Soviet missiles are on the way
The bastards set loose The wardogs Tyr and Loki Weathermans predicting rain But fire itll be
Minutemen launching Air-sirens haunting Warheads detonating Cremating
Im living at Ground Zero Im dying at Ground Zero Im burning at Ground Zero Im frying at Ground Zero
From my bed, I hear the sirens Screaming of foreboding Populous escaping Highways overloading
Bridge is down tunnels flooded Only got six minutes Head between my legs I kiss my balls goodbye Theyre finished
Mxs blasting Skyscrapers crashing Fallout, liberated Were wasted
Im living at Ground Zero Im dying at Ground Zero Im burning at Ground Zero Im frying at Ground Zero
Jesus, I beg of thee Dont take my life Return me to the womb From which I was torn
Birth is a sin And the punishment is death I wish you had left me unborn
I shit my pants as I wait for the reaper Lie in fetal position Tears stream down my cheeks As I call out for my mother Say an act of contrition
Well fight this war with germs and atoms Destroy our only home Our mutated descendants battle the next With sticks and stones
Are we not savages Innately destined to maim and kill? Blame it on the environment Heredity or evolution, were still responsible
Our intelligence may progress At geometric rates Yet socially we remain Belligerent neonates

a while back someone killed themself at a mall where I used to live by jumping from one of the top floors. people, children, and whoever else saw it happen. my friend was supposedly at the mall that day when it happened.
if I had to die i'd die old, after I've accomplished all of my dreams. preferably in my sleep after fucking some young hottie with big tits.

I'm not afraid to die. I have always wanted to die saving people. Like taking a bullet from a shooter so that a family could escape and happily live on. A final selfless act.

Nah but for real tho I firmly believe that the moment we actually die our brains release a fuckton of DMT all at once and we are simply crushed into oblivion by the weightless mass of all existence concentrated into a single mass of energy in our pineal gland
Think of it kinda like a nuclear meltdown
