Wrapping an Agar Plate???

I have GLAD Cling Wrap that I will be using to wrap my petris in while they sit. I hear it's best to cut it into strips before using. Got it.
The GLAD Cling Wrap can't be sterile now (or even before) since I've been touching it with my fingers and cutting it with scissors in open air. Was I supposed to...
1. Cut the strips inside my SAB (seems like the most difficult method..)
2. Cut them outside the SAB and spray them or wipe them with a bleach solution to "clean" them?
3. OR is there something I'm missing completely here?
Once I get strips of "clean" GLAD Cling Wrap in the SAB what do I do about them sticking to each other? The more I think the more this seems more difficult than it should be.
I'm lost and the search bar isn't helping me on how to ACTUALLY wrap them. Maybe I'm over thinking it?
I've seen videos with paradigm and a flow hood so I get the idea of where do put it but how do I keep it sterile???

The strips aren't supposed to necessarily be sterile. It's best to do all this in your SAB anyway since that's where the plates are, but the wrapping is there to keep air from flowing into it easily and to hold it together, it doesn't have to be clean, itself, to serve that purpose. You'll wipe the plates down with iso again when you use them, right? If you want the cleanest wrap possible, you'll have to do it all in the SAB, and cut off about the first 6-8 inches of plastic to get to the clean stuff underneath.

You should cut the rolls into pieces first (2"?) so when you need a piece all you need to do is do one cut with the sciccors. It will be cleaner and faster that way since you won't be fiddling with a huge roll.

Another question has now come to mind...
When pouring plates in an SAB, is it OK to let them cool so you can inoculate them before you wrap them up? Or do I need to wrap them, let them cool, inoculate, and then re-wrap them again?
Thanks in advance,

Don't wrap, just leave them to cool in still air.

Also, you don't even have to wrap unused plates. Use the sleeve they came in and slide it back over them. If you fold the sleeve neatly after taking the plates out, it will be clean enough to store your unwrapped plates in until you need to use them. I've left poured plates in the sleeve they came in for two months before they grew mold and only a couple of them did, the others were still fine.
I think that RR even does that in his videos.
