Anyone else have dermatographism? (Tl;dr included)

Tl;dr at bottom

Just found out i have a skin disease. Dermatographism or "skin writing". Over the last couple weeks I've had the worst itching sensation on my thighs in my life.

At first i thought i just somehow brushed into poison ivy.Impossible since work uniform is pants aandnd i wear boots everyday but it's all i could figure it might be.

I also work with powerful pesticides and occasionally might splash myself with it. I've only splashed it after it's been diluted, plus i know for a fact this doesn't match any symptoms of that but it was something i considered for a minute.

Well i started to notice that my skin looked perfectly fine until no matter what when i scratched it it would turn red and eventually swell up in the exact spot i scratched it. So tonight i decided to just google it.

I google everything that pops into my head, it's just funny to see where people have posted the exact same things I've thought on the internet no matter how bizarre.

Literally everything is on the internet, i believe rule 34 is a fact of life and as such have never tested it out of fear but I'm off topic.

I typed into google "skin swells where i scratch" and come across a wiki talking about dermatographism. It shows exames where people have written words into their arms.

About 15 minutes ago i picked up a precision set screwdriver and just barely scratched the words "help me" into my chest just to test it out. Idk morbid humor i guess

Sure enough as i sit here typing this it looks exactly like the scene from the exorcist. I had to put on a shirt so as not to freak my family out.

Tl;dr i can basically lightly scratch messages into my skin and it will swell up exactly like the  in the exorcist. It sucks because it is very itchy and my skin is like psychotically sensitive.

Anybody else have this? If so do you have any tips?I'm gonna try and make the best of it until i see a doctor to get it treated. Guess i just need antihistamines.

Not LSD, you can't get addicted to LSD, it was built by scientists.
