Thanks As I was dying I was like alright I guess this is an okay way to go. Yeah, I have a lot of limitations by it and my new gf has had sickness and injuries too and when she heard that story she got hella turned on. And that's one story I don't have to exaggerate at all.
Yeah the class system is how dangerous it is to be outside the boat in the water. So class 5 are always almost instant death for whoever falls out. Depending on the length of the rapid . In fact the law requires rafting companies to get good helmets and boots for specifically that reason. I had done 5 consecutive level 4s the previous years. Also they didn't tell me until after I fell in that no one had ever walked away from that. I don't think there was any deaths in the river themselves except 10-20 years before I was there. The ones that did live had to be medivaced .
The only reason I lived is because I had been a certified life gaurd for years and did constant drills in the water and learned ocean and river currents and was at my peak physical shape . If that ever happens to anyone reading this you will first go into shock so just do your damndest to keep your feet down stream but if you're 3 feet under 30-40 mile an hour water the sand and sentiment make it impossible to tell if you are going up or down stream. I thought for sure I was going to die when I ran chest first into a giant boulder at easily 20-30 miles an hour. It knocked what little air I had out of me and I started to choke on water and we weren't even close to the end. So what I did Is swim side ways so I could get just a few breaths of air. That alone saved me . At the bottom of the river they had about 15 rafts from 3 companies that have me a standing ovation when I finished the river.

sorry you had your account compromised, it is a pain in the ass.
be careful with where you keep your cash and if/when applying for loans ect they like to see a decent balance in your account.
had a good night at work, made a little money and time flew by. i love being busy and being creative.
had my roommate move out not unexpectedly but without a word to me, owed 2 months in rent but left a vial of acid so i am cool with it, was time and ready for the house to have one less person around.
drank way too much yesterday but that seems to be something i am good at. like just under a liter of vodka and a few gins as well. such is life

Yeah, I'm not a strong swimmer at all. I've recently picked up kayaking and will be working on the whole picture, but that scenario would surely be a death ticket
Arms are feeling better, going to try and do what I can to avoid hurting them at work today, maybe wear one of my wrist braces. Do you think your damaged L3 nerve has a chance at recovering? Are you on any sort of plan for that (surgeries/PT/crystals)?

Repertoire89 said: Started work on a new composition yesterday, it sucks that I no longer have any classical composer friends to exchange notes with. Makes me feel very alone, considering that is the center of my life, everything else being in the peripherals. Even with composers I'm in a very specific niche and its rare to find someone who understands the basis of my work.
Being generally extroverted, that is not for the better. Looking forward to performing again, its much easier to meet like-minded people in that context.
Its great to have friends for miscellaneous, but lacking colleagues is much like lacking an SO or family. A social function which cannot be replicated.
I'd love to hear some of your compositions if you have anything available. What kinda music do you make? What composers or eras do you draw influence from?
Anyway, sup y'all. I woke up feeling nostalgic as fuck and quite manic too. Think I'll try and channel my weird feelings into some music in a bit

Sounds like a very interesting sound. Indian classical is fucking fascinating, especially South Indian classical/Carnatic music. I'm less familiar with the Hindustani tradition, but i do appreciate what I've heard of it. It's all so different from western classical music it's crazy.
I can't pretend to be well versed in European classical music either, but I know good music when I hear it. Most of my favorite composers were from the classical period but I'm also pretty into some baroque and romantic composers. I love a lot of modern composers too, and some stuff beyond that as well (minimalist composers especially Gorecki, and some serialism as well). Can find things to appreciate in basically any school of music though.
I make beats, mostly hip hop, but some garage, drum & bass, ambient, and a lil deep house as well. I also play guitar and play a lot of punk, metal, blues, and folk. I sing as well but anyone can do that.
What's your primary instrument?
