Panaelous cyanescens? ID Request
    #23432062 - 07/11/16 01:10 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Hello, I went to a cow pasture today to hunt for mushrooms, i was looking for cubes but only found a bunch of these and to me they look like Panaelous Cyanescens, most of them were off white, a few were light tan from the tip, some showing cracks with age, all of them were found in cow patties, the  spore print is black and i dont see and purple, some were bruised faint blue before i picked them but none bruised noticably enough, the bruises became black as you can see in one of the pictures

yes antillarums. nice find. it blows me away how almost identical the antillarums are. basically antillarums are pan cyans that do not bruise blue for the sake of active vs not. blue yes no blue 99.9% antillarum.

it seems like the main difference between the two is that the antillarum tends look like a slightly more robust version of the pan cyan.

also there are often remnants of the partail veil on the edges of P. antillarum caps.
