Brands or Types of HEPA Filters for a LFH? Some to Avoid?

Mostly I'm finding Flanders, Astrocel, Camfil Farr, and Aerostar.
Are there some you would avoid by brand or type? Are there ones preferred for some reasons?
Are there other names you can give me to help expand my search?

Look for a filter that has the right spec at the best price. I wouldn't worry about brands, these are not consumer grade shit like a vacuum cleaner filter off amazon. These filters are used in billion$ industries, think skyscraper aircon systems or filters in pharmaceutical drug development. The companies making these probably wouldn't be in business if there filters weren't good.

Quite frankly, I'm not yet sure what search words to use for Google that narrow down and perfectly categorize filters for this purpose. I tried terms like "laminar," "flow," "hood," and "HEPA" and came up with limited results.
Industrial filters are not all designed for FH's--not to mention tons of consumer grade filters to somehow sift out as well!

Good point. Mostly, I was just thinking there might be design issues with some that might render them less suitable for LFH purposes.

You can still find good filters on Ebay. Not sure about amazon since I never used it but I guess there will be some as well.
To narrow the bullshit out either refine your search to highest price first or type in the measurement. The latter is probably the best though. For example, this is what I get when I type "hepa filter 24x24" in ebay.
http://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m4084.l1313.TR0.TRC0&_nkw=hepa+filter+24x24&isNewKw=1&mfs=GOCLK&acimp=0&sqp=
As for brands, mine is flanders and I highly recommend them. They are a very serious company (not that the others aren't) and they have spec sheets for every filter they have made, both present models and discontinued ones. Their spec sheet is very detailed, tells you all the information you could ever need. It also explains the codes, you can see what extras your filter has/could have had by comparing your code to what is written on the spec sheet.
If you can, try to buy a 4-6" HEPA as that is specifically made for laminar flow. 12" ones are still good but are not made for that purpose. They are also very bulky and the thicker they are, the bigger the plenum should be. with a 12" thick filter, you can easily end up with a 2foot deep flowhood or more.
