sure, it happens but it's extremely rare that it does happen, of course the claim that it happens is far more frequent, in fact most people in prison were framed or it was entrapment or any other bullshit to profess they're innocent
Quote:
He's apparently trying to fight the charges, via evidence like lack of his fingerprints on the baggie of crack. If he had picked it up, there should be his fingerprints all over the bag, presumably. But it's really an uphill battle and dependent on luck whether you are found guilty or not guilty.
that's pretty common, you can see the cops on camera pulling the baggies out of a guy's pocket and he's screaming shit about it aint got his fingerprints, never saw that shit in his life, the cop planted it, the pants belong to someone else and he's just borrowing them

Violence is never the answer but they are begging for it.

On Wednesday, Orta took a plea deal on weapons and drug charges
That's not the story. The story, is that he has been harassed non-stop ever since he has filmed that incident. The cops knew who he was, and targeted him, until they caught him with something. That, or they possibly planted evidence on him to incarcerate him.
If you read into the story more, you'll find that Orta refused to eat while in Rikers' Jail, because he claimed that they were trying to poison his food in prison. He was also charged with domestic assault against his wife, a charge that his own wife says is false and was fabricated by the police to take him to jail.
the story is that he pled guilty to drug and weapons charges and it's not like women with the bruises and broken bones arent making the same statement. you're defending an abuser of women now. how cute

If you think this only has to do with police militarization and excessive force you would be wrong. This has been decades in the making, since before most of us were born. As long as I can remember "Kill Whitey" has been a thing and white people just laugh at it.
Considering BLM was banned from holding meetings in a TN library for a "colors only" rule. If their goal was to bring people together or bridge a gap between the communities then why would they ban white people from meetings?
http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/
To blame violent crime on poverty is a blatant lie. There are more white people living in poverty than any other group. People/The Media try to twist the numbers to "adjust for population" so the percentages show some sort of imbalance that is meant to gain sympathy or disdain but that is dishonest and not representative of the actual people who are living and dying.

Nice try.
I ACTUALLY live around and interact with black people everyday, so that tactic doesn't really work on me.
I know the big bad black people are super duper scary, but you should try to be brave.
The white man will overcome this horrible adversity we face in due time.

Well what do you know so do I. Most black people are cool if you are cool with them. But black supremacists hate white people and to deny that BLM has people associated with black supremacist movement is a lie.
Are you denying the "knock-out game" was racially motivated at white people? Are you denying the anti-white rhetoric that echoes through society? Are you denying that BLM holds color-only meetings?
So are you denying this lady means what she says? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a32_1468129070

Are you denying that blacks are more likely to be convicted than white people who have committed the same crime?
Are you denying that blacks are more likely to be incarcerated than whites when they both have committed the same crime?
Are you denying that blacks are more likely to do longer sentences than whites for the same crimes?
Are you denying that 5 times as many Whites are using drugs as African Americans, yet African Americans are sent to prison for drug offenses at 10 times the rate of Whites?
I could go on all day.
All that shit that you listed is small potatoes compared to how badly black people get screwed over.
I will be happy to flood you with links and sources if you are incapable of doing your own research

These events are not happening in a vacuum. We know what is driving the hatred for cops.
The answer is: police culture needs to change. People need to see that cops are held accountable when they kill someone unnecessarily (and this will require limiting what is considered justifiable) If people get the sense that justice is being served, people will not be overwhelmed with the urge for vengeance.
Kennedy said: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." If the police and politicians resist a peaceful revolution in the way police behave, we will have a violent revolution.

Yeah, it's the cops fault. So why didn't Obama fix it? Why didn't he change the laws?
Stop blaming cops, did Obama ever want to change the existing laws, what about Hill?

You seriously can't see all of this is a reaction to police violence? People are fed up with the intransigence and arrogance of law enforcement. They see no accountability for wrong doing. Cops behave in ways that would get any other person fired from their job or prosecuted. Cops need to start respecting the citizens who pay their salaries, and not demand that everyone respect them simply because of who they are. You have to earn respect. We are not their servants, they are our servants. They need to be accountable to us, not themselves.

For all the socialism/communism haters, I really don't understand how this one statistic isn't enough to make them get it -
The US imprisons more people than COMMUNIST CHINA.
A lot, lot, lot more. Like, about 1,000,000 more.
Their population is over 3x larger than ours.
The prison population in the US is equal to the populations of Wyoming, North Dakota, and Alaska combined.
Did some people really not see this coming?
Of course people are pissed at the cops/justice system/legislators, and of course it is ALL 110% the cops/justice system/legislators fault.

Not really. There are a lot of people who think like Pris - who actually enjoy the heavy hand of the state as long as it is not bearing down on them.

why doesnt the criminal culture need to change? should we be telling people that then need to resist cops at every step 'because they have rights' because that's the mentality that has people getting killed, we all know that the cop is either taking you in or he's going to beat you and take you in, the way always depends on how the arrestee decides to act. it would seem liberals want to inform these people that they need to assert their rights with force in the streets

You're response summed up: It is okay to support genocidal movements because the justice system is harsher on black criminals. If they weren't so harsh and targeted black people, they would get away with more crime and have more freedom like white people do.
But see it's a vicious cycle. I understand that stereotyping is unfair. Never denied that. When it comes down to stats, the majority of murders and violent crime are done by black males who account for ~8% of the population. This is not a claim that the majority of black males are murderers or violent. When you consider the 20+ years of music that glorifies killing police and being a criminal, if you're a cop you might be a little more on edge and aggressive too. This can be counter-productive however, and results in the social divide we see.
Drug sentencing mandatory minimums are unjust and many of the drug laws are backwards. I'm pretty sure there are programs for first time non-violent drug offenders as long as the weight is under a certain amount, regardless of the race. They also take into consideration the kind of person you are- are you in school, do you have a job, do you have kids, do you pay child support, shit like that.
One of my childhood friends has done time for several different things, mostly breaking into homes and stealing things from people. He got in a fight with his girl & the cops were called and he was arrested. He has several prior felonies, and he still only got probation. He's even revoked his probation and they still kept him out of prison because he works and is doing what he should. This example goes against your claim of that black people always get longer sentences, but I'm sure this could be considered an exception.
I've also seen them beat a white kid in handcuffs that's laying on the ground.
Do you think things would be different if they had more of a culture that glorified being doctors, lawyers, and civil servants instead of gangsters, hustlers, and pimps and didn't call people Uncle Tom, Coon, and white-washed?
Try being white and walking down some areas of Cicero at night. I stopped at a gas station on the way to a rave with the whole store locked down behind bulletproof glass and bars with a middle space between us so I had to ask for what I wanted and she had to get it for me at 8pm. The clerk behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy and made sure I wasn't walking in that area and told me to be safe.
My whole point was the connection of BLM members with movements that seek to kill ALL white people, not just police or politicians and the fact that anti-white rhetoric as well as anti-white race violence being called a game by the media as socially acceptable is a dangerous combination.
