Well, if that is the case, I feel really sorry for those people who are so easily annoyed. It might be time for those people to become adults. Not everything that annoys us is a reason to throw a cop validating tantrum.
I will say that I can understand getting annoyed when they are blocking traffic, though.

Also they interupted a pride parade because they felt they were more important

I thought their point was everyone is equally important?

Yeah, definitely not the best tactic there.
I really can't blame them for acting irrationally while protesting, though. I'm pretty pissed at the cops and the entire justice system, too. It's pretty sickening what is going on in this country.
And half the people act like we have so much to be grateful to cops for, which is funny to me.
Have you ever had somebody do you a favor that you never asked them to do, and then they never let you forget it, and hold it over your head and if you aren't "grateful enough" they get offended?
When people do that, it's pretty silly. That's pretty much what cops do. And I'm sorry but fuck that.
If they feel so unappreciated, they should quit. I certainly wouldn't miss them or feel any less safe.
I fear cops a helluva a lot more than I fear terrorists or black people, that's for sure.

I am a non-violent person, and would never commit violence against another person outside of a self defense situation.
That being said, why is that uncalled for? That is exactly what police are trained to do when somebody is "out of line"
EDIT: you guys know you don't have to defend cops just cuz mommy and daddy told you to, right? Why defend somebody who would love to lock your ass in a cage for doing something we all know is not wrong? Are ya'll really that afraid of black people?

Was watching die hard and looking through this thread when this snippet came on
Quote:
I shot a kid. He was 13 years old. Ohhh, it was dark, I couldn't see him. He had a ray gun, looked real enough. You know, when you're a rookie, they can teach you everything about bein' a cop except how to live with a mistake. Anyway, I just couldn't bring myself to draw my gun on anybody again.

Yeah but instead it kinda seems like some of them like shooting their guns at living things like the dogs or in that dylan noble video it really comes off to me that the cop with the shotgun just really wanted to fire it into dylan.
Why didnt the other cops with the handguns continue using the handguns since they were already using them?

Okay also sick doesn't change the fact that people are going way too far and not just protesting anymore. We should never fight killing with more killing. The game,Snoop dog and about 100 other African American celebrities are using lots of money to good cops that have charity organizations they set up in African American communities. With great success I might add. It's starting a dialogue instead of an all out war.Quote:

To answer this, because then you'll have people that see a police officer put his hand on his gun(because they are trained to be cautious) and if someone thinks they're out of line or scared of being shot and tries to grab their gun they will get killed for sure instead of a fear of getting shot for no reason. This mentality will for sure leave more people dead. There more good cops then bad . I feel like it's like explaining to trump the majority of Muslims are not violent.

Source?
Sorry, but until they ALL prove otherwise by refusing to arrest non-violent drug offenders, I have to assume that none of them are good people. It is a matter of personal safety. A person who has agreed to do that as part of their career should not be trusted.

They dont write the law they just enforce it.
Imagine what would happen if you didnt do your job.

It's actually not like that at all. People are born into Islam. People are born into Muslim countries and cultures. A lot of people who are Muslim do not have a choice. There are countries where you HAVE to be Muslim.
Nobody HAS to be a cop. All cops have agreed to enforce the laws, many of which are extremely unjust.
That is a false equivalency.

Here is why it doesn't matter at all that there are more "good cops" than bad cops:
When I was arrested for possession of marijuana many years ago, my friend was profiled because he had long shaggy hair. The cop told us that was why he pulled us over.
There were FOUR cops that searched my car. THREE of the cops were apologizing to me to the whole time. No joke.
They were sincere, too. I could tell they were embarrassed to be harassing somebody over 9 grams of weed.
Did that matter? No. Because the ONE asshole cop, who pulled me over in the first place, was not sorry.
Lol. The "good cops" are actually the real bitches, IMO. Those sorry pieces of shit can't even stand up for what is right when it is 3 against 1.
Fast forward to many years later, and I am still trying to get my life back on track, all because those 3 "good cops" (no such thing) were too fucking stupid to do the right thing.

Three cops: "I'm sorry for harassing you insignificant amount of marijuana... Let me search your vehicle"
One cop: "Not sorry. One less druggie scumbag kid off the streets!"

Basically.
All it takes is one encounter like that to make a person hate law enforcement for the rest of their life.
Considering cops arrest 1.5 million people for drugs in the US every year, the only thing that is surprising about this violence against police is that it hasn't happened sooner.
**Having said that, I want to reiterate that I am NOT a violent person. Even if I was getting sent to prison for life, I would never impose MY will on a police officer, because I am morally superior to cops.**

Lol, I don't care if a cop gets fired. They shouldn't have taken a job where they agreed to imprison non-violent drug offenders in the first place. I got absolutely zero sympathy.
My job doesn't involve making decisions that impact other people's lives. My job doesn't involve imposing my will, or the will of the state on other people's lives.

If cops want to play hero, there are plenty of other more dangerous jobs they can do that don't involve imprisoning non-violent drug offenders.
They can refer to the list I posted earlier: 1 Logging workers 2 Fishers and related fishing workers 3 Aircraft pilots and flight engineers 4 Roofers 5 Refuse and recyclable material collectors 6 Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers 7 Structural iron and steel workers 8 Driver/sales workers and truck drivers 9 Electrical power-line installers and repairers 10 Taxi drivers and chauffeurs

You have a right to your OPINION
Should we not have any cops at all just because drugs are illegal?
Is that what you are suggesting?
