Pretty much happens. There are deeper views and you just gotta accept someone might share something in common with you, they might have dosed. Try compassion

LSD has effect on serotonin, it's normal to feel "unbalanced" for the first few days after a trip. It's also possible it has exasperated underlying medical conditions which is a good thing they are apparent now rather than later. Wait another day or 2 you'll be back to normal, but the awareness of individuals and vibrations will always remain. I would start cleaning up your circle of friends/family any toxicity that brings you down or is bad vibes.

What you explained is normal. Except what happened at that restaurant that was kind of odd. Just relax it's only been a few days. Things will probably be noticeably different for at least a week.

I just cant take anyone who hasn't done psychedelics seriously, its hard.
This is a little arrogant to say after having only One experience

Psychedelics alter the mind in extremely profound ways. LSD in particular hits way more receptors than any other psychedelic. Beyond the intensity & absurdity of trips....which takes a few days to really sink in afterwards, it takes some time for the neurochemistry to re-balance. Hence tolerance, and the afterglow. Therefore being in a heightened emotional state in the week after is fairly common. This will only be exaggerated if you have any underlying issues, including even mild bipolar symptoms. If I were you, I wouldn't read too much into it. Get some rest, eat a balanced diet, exercise, meditate.....all of these things that speed up the process of getting back to your normal self. I would also exercise caution in using psychedelics in the future, as what you described is on the more extreme end of the spectrum. If you really are bipolar, psychedelics are riskier than they are for someone without an underlying issue.

Without reading any responses, I'd say if you really are bipolar or manic it might account for exaggerated emotions due to your serotonin levels after your trip. That analysis doesn't mean I'm implying whst you experienced is abnormal though either. See, you're opening up new pathways in your brain, new thought processes and such. With time, you will find yourself becoming accustomed to the effects in such a way that you may not even notice what you described, possibly even lament it's absence. What I think is going on with your exaggerated feelings, is you are becoming more aware of your internal thought processes which puts an emphasis on your reactions to them. Your thoughts also become 'louder' and more prominent, harder to ignore. Quiet your mind and relax - that's proper advice for many aspects of life, regardless if you're tripping or not.

Who are you to judge others like this? And you only did LSD once... If we were to apply your standards to you, I don't think you would find many friends here.
I hope if you trip again that it brings you positivity instead of hatred and negativity.

Sounds like you want a cult. If anything psycadelics can be a traumatic experience even if it's the best state of ecstasy ever. Simply because it's cannot last.
Sometimes I think war veterans are dicks because they hoard sympathy and act like nobody else has seen suffering or experienced a bad time. This can happen with tripping like with what your experiencing. Sounds like ego!

Dude calm down this is normal for people who just tried psychedelics. It can be a dramatic wake up call. Has nothing to do with "hatred" lmfao

Also I don't know why people are talking about serotonin levels here....I'm fairly certain that that's not what LSD does. Yes it works on certain receptors but it's not like it's using up your actual serotonin...it's just replacing the serotonin with LSD. It's not like it's actually using anything up.

It still alters neurochemistry, which takes some time to resolve. And it hits far more than just serotonin receptors. I posted a video in the recent prints thread that talks about this a bit.

I know this and I know it has a complex binding profile but I just hate when people act like it "uses up serotonin" like it's MDMA or something.

But the real truth is - most of those people are way smarter than you can imagine. They have their own lives and obligations, their own problems to deal with, and lists of accomplishments that you can't possibly imagine. If you keep tripping, eventually you will have this realization and it will blow your mind. Humility is one of the greatest benefits of tripping.

5ht2a is a seritonin receptor and what LSD attaches to. There is also new evidence that a dopamine receptor is activated directly via LSD. Burnout can occur.

Yes but there's no actual surge or release of serotonin..

Doesn't need to be, LSD activates as if it were seritonin at 5ht2a.

Truth is we hardly know diddly about the brain and LSD seems to prove it. People that don't know would believe that the tripping experience is 100% fiction.

this is understandable. I freaked out on acid during the war of 1812. I was only 14 and too young for the continental army. I joined a rag tag band of bloody mutant children, women, cripples and mentally ill. we used crude devices and makeshift weaponry terrorizing the British troops who were attempting to flank the battened ramparts defending the bay. eventually we slaughtered over 37 bloody cunts and wore their fingers on strings around our necks. after the war we retreated to eastern Kentucky and started to make bourbon shine for the restless inhabitants of the valley there. it was there that I first made love to an animal. back then such things were ordinary and accepted. my how times have changed.

Sobriety is the hardest mind altering experience. There are eastern religions that practice being aware and sober.
