Hi, can I get an ID on these please. I'm pretty sure of 1-60, 60 onwards I think may be something different as there is little or no nipple or don't quite look right to me.

Sorry photo quality isn't all that.

Haha about time
You can wash em but likelihood is they gonna go slimey
Your best bet is drying them, they'll last a lot longer that way

61 n 67 are protostropharia semiglobata n 63 may also be, it's hard to tell i need gill shots of everything on that page to be confident

This is my first year of searching and I could do with some help identifying suitable fields and the right shrooms.
Anyone fancy going on a shroom hunting trip in the herts/bucks area?
All I can say is research it! Libs in general like sheep pastures and high elevations, cyans in general like woodchip flower beds, specifically alder woodchip. Both thrive in cold and wet conditions, so I'd be out 24-48 hours after any rain.
Top tip with libs; morning and evening are good times to hunt as the sun casts shadows which make them easier to spot. Cyans can grow literally anywhere there is woodchip, but they seem to prefer rose bushes and rhododendrons. Look in pub play parks, roundabouts and botanical gardens. They have been found growing wild under blackberry bushes (which again they seem to favour, and strawberry too) but this is uncommon.
Sheep pastures for libs, towns and cities for cyans.

Tbh ive never bothered with that just looked for fields with plenty of thistles. This field is a sheep field near a river. Its also a flood plain. The thistle patches are huge and im finding them right in amongst them. Been peaks a few times done me nothing so think il be sticking to this little goldmine

So do you reckon thistle is a good indicator? I've been checking a north facing sheep pasture for the past few weeks, came back empty handed every time. Need to get up on to Dartmoor really but transport for me is an issue.
don't worry about high elevations this stage in the season.. high or low they will be there on their habitat don't over complicate your selves. Not just north facing at times.......... south, west, east - whole perimeter of a pasture/field, you've just checked one part of the field, when they could of been the other end... they can cover complete perimeters if they wish and the center ... I've never let elevation or NSWE facing fields be a concern and I've managed ok , jst go with own intuition, instinct based on the researched habitat and not word for word. where a spore lands from a near lib, on the same field has the possibility to become a new generation - what ever the facing side

Good luck with cloning from them I'm afraid I'm far too hamfisted to clone such small mushrooms
Also found these shaggy mane I believe
Please don't risk your health eating random mushrooms. I'm not a TI, but as I like a drink I've always steered clear of those sort of mushrooms.

So I'm thinking its gonna be mushrooms on toast for lunch
Even if they aren't what I think they are, they still look past their use by date.

Ha ha cheers
It took me a while to understand your post the libs are now on agar so will keep this thread posted with any action.
As for the shaggy mane I had them for lunch probably not the best thing to do but I did some reading and was sure that they were shaggy main and not magpie or common ink cap.
If they are common inkcap it's unlikely I'll be having a drink till the weekend so should be ok by then, if not I purge
Any thoughts peeps?

bout libs ive noticed on a patch that in certain small part of the patch grow a certain characteristic a small family a group of same shapes compared to the resst with out fail each time, each flush, each year ,same bit of the ground,on part of mycelium... about 7 of them all come out a certain shaped cap compared to others on the same pasture,everytime..... odd

Thanks a lot, I managed to knock the piece paper I had them on so I lost track of which one was 65. Here's the gill shot for 65, 63, and 60....something.

Confirmation of ID on those 3 pages would be greatly appreciated, will post more detailed pics if needed. Anything underlined I'm unsure of. Cheers.

Thanks littlespider, I'll double check that especially seeing as some conocybes were poisonous on that link.
These are the first libs I've ever found, even though there's not enough to trip I still feel like a child at Christmas!
