With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

The first 3 in your first pic look like liberty caps, the rest seem to be a mixture of mottlegills - specifically panaeolus acuminatus and panaeolina foenisecii I think.
Edit: Ignore me then!

Thanks a lot for your help, much appreciated. I can kind of see that number 1 on photo 3 looks different due to size and stalk colour but to my eyes number 3 on photo 2 looks identical to others. What is that you're able to see with this mushroom that allows you to identify it as something else? Here's a better photo of the mushroom:
 Thanks!

Hi, first time posting. Went fishing the other day and stumbled across these on the way home. Wondered if anyone could help me with an ID. Location seems to tick some of the right boxes (sheep field, grazed grass) and we've had a lot of rain followed by clear days. Didn't take a picture of the gills, which was silly, but they were dark in colour (a grey/light brown i guess).

Also this one looks a bit questionable to me, stem looks a bit too thick and short and it doesn't seem to be drying to the co lour I'd been expecting.

Anyone up for budying up? It'll be weather dependent (if its not pissing it down), and either tomorrow or the day after.
Yes brother I've got a primo spot in the Lake District - PM sent.

I'm not far off (Near Chester). If you are able to sort transport I'll add towards fuel costs

I checked outside the local Tesco and Aldi today, plenty of woodchips and at one spot there was a VERY strong smell of mushrooms, yet not a single fruit body to be seen, same with libs. Thinking of ordering one of those kits that are already full of established mycelium as thats probably the only way i'll get shrooms in 2016.

Went out for another quick hunt in my new favourite spot today and got another 30+. I'm amazed at how many are growing in this area, never found so many in this spot before and I've been checking it every season since I found my first four here back in 2012.
Some nice fresh ones in little clusters too.

I've always found that when you spot some, it's best to kneel or crouch down near them and look around. I do this and almost every time find some more growing within a few feet that I may not have spotted from a standing position because of their size, colour, or the amount of grass surrounding them.

Thanks, yeah it's a magical place all year round but when it's peak lib season there's something even more special about it.
Grab a map, park up somewhere, and keep searching, you'll find them mate.
