Panaeolus papilionaceus
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

I can totally confirm this.
I live in Oxford and have searched in and around it. I was just about to ask you guys for advice, maybe I'm doing something wrong. The fields I'mlooking in are mainly parks and meadows like these:

Also do you have any tips on how to see? I mean general vision, detail or landscape?

If you want to come to Mansfield and pick me up I'll take you to a primo spot in Peak District. I got 150 in hour and half on Saturday. I know what I'm doing with regards to identification.

Hey guys,
The season has been far from fruitful in Dorset. The usual locations are bare and it's clear the season is going to be a short one.
With that in mind I'm considering travelling to more distant lands, anyone had any experience in New forest or Dartmoor national parks??
A bin bag full would be nice ;P

Went picking today at a field I had scoped out pulled up next to it and my car fell down the verge, completely stuck. Had to go and get the farmer to tow me out lol he was very helpful and got me out, little did he know what I was up to.

Probably Moel Famau which is 530m above sea level at the top but I think the terrain is more slate and stone than grass but I'm not sure. If anybodys planning a trip to Famau, let me know!

I think a good whinge is in order...
Still nothing of any value, since I found that one shroom a couple of weeks ago, I have found only one more.
The weather has been much more like it - gloomy, wet and misty. Had a good rain over the weekend so I thought I'd go back to the only field I've had luck in so far, nothing - the one cap I found and left behind (it was tiny...) on Friday was nowhere to be found. Methinks I'm either looking in crappy areas, or ones that other people can get there earlier than me and hoover them all up. Looks like if I'm going to have any hope at all it's going to be a long (and potentially extremely disappointing) road trip or take a gamble with buying them from some shifty git I don't know.
I don't know what to do... Kinda putting psilocybin down as a potential ally in the fight to get my mind back after regular antidepressents and psychological therapies have completely failed to help. All eggs in one basket that seems to have a massive hole in it you could say.
Argh.
