I don't believe that the haggii are partial to the mush at all. If they were we would never be finding them in their pastures now would we.

Hi everyone,
I haven't picked nor eaten for 25 years.
I've been out a few times in the past week on the local parks etc. and today I found these.

IDENTIFICATION HELP PLEASE........

I'm pretty sure I know a lib when I see one, I'm chuffed to find these, of which I'm 90-95% sure are the real deal.
Can I get a bo selecta from anyone. I know some are quite small. They were in a group of 14, and as I was leaving I found 2 more.

What do you's think?

This thread has brought much knowledge and happiness to me. I had been panicking a bit but you calmed me and on my early stroll this morning I found an abundance of little shroomy families. Didn't pick them as they were only little. Temps have dropped here in East Ireland and the dew is helping as there is little or no rain. Late season like the rest of you but no doubt a great season. I love the brain clean these little libs give you.

Thanks to everyone who contributes with your wealth of knowledge about the right and wrong shrooms, the best places to look, the ideal weather and poetry too.

Peace and Love my friends

Hi clioharri,

This is what i would do to add a picture to a post:

1. You've got your post written out in the 'Quick Reply' box at the bottom of the thread.
2. Click the image icon, with one with the 'mountain and sun' next to the 'TEX' icon.
3. This opens up a box with 'URL' and a 'Upload' link. Click the 'Upload' link. This opens up a new tab on my browser called 'picture upload'
4. Click Image 1: 'Choose files' button which opens a file select dialogue, to so you can choose which file on your pc/phone etc.
5. Click the little checkbox next to it called 'share' (i presume this is needed)
6. Choose another file for Image 2 if required.
7. Click upload button at the bottom of this 'upload picture' page. It should take you to a new page saying picture uploaded successfully.
8. There will be a box saying 'BBCode', you want to copy whats in that box and paste it into your Quick replay text post.
9. Pat yourself on the back and give yourself a high five

Hope that helps,

They all look like libs to me but hope a trusted ide'er can help you. if all found in a group then thats a really good sign.

I give you the choice of 2 pills.

With each containing one of the following:
Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk?
Didn't think so.

This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

Is it best to let libs dry naturally, or is it OK to put them in the hot press or on a warm surface on paper?

Shroomymooney,

Air dry is good with gentle heat such as radiator.
I stuck a pc case fan on top of a shoe box with some holes in the side. not sure if it made much of a difference. But after a couple of days stick them in a kilner jar with some desiccant and they turn cracker dry. then they can be frozen

Thanks juliaset,

Can I now ask how long they last dry, and then how much longer frozen? This is the first year where I plan on trying to keep some for use throughout the year.

Got a small haul yesterday but seen loads of pinn and the weather is just getting better and better so I know its not going long whoop whoop

Ps sorry if this message came as I direct reply I have no idea what im doing... lol

hey guys,

just want to confirm these are libs, found them without trying when walking the dog today. Id given up looking a couple of weeks ago till the weather got better (or worse, actually, depending how you look at it). Funny how you find something when you're not looking for it.

I noticed plenty of other species out and about today (although I don't have any knowledge of them) so I'm guessing the conditions are starting to pick up.

Happy hunting!

I have stored libs for years in pourous containers, such as gravy granuals come in, in my kitchen for years without noticeable loss of potency.
Even turned a straight guy gay on what were at least three year old libs.
Inside forum joke 'shrooms make you gay' but it can happen.
