^ I'm from east Anglia too.... from the last weekend there will be fruit as it rained all day most of the night, as did it Sunday, but from the morning and night dew will also activate some mycelium , so , regardless of no rain over the last few days, although some patchy, u should be in luck, fruit should be about , judging you find the right place, un touched, there will be..
I feel meditation can only really be done with help of a plant ally, anything entheogen related.... trying to do it with out it , in our culture full of distraction and corruptive air , ends up more like a pretentious effort, placebo than a real out mystical connection to divinity, I mean , we isn't got mountains of Tibet around here ...
ha, pink sand, so it was pink sand hehe, your location is near at the end of the rainbow is that right? follow the yellow brick road, pink in your case ...
possible that hurricane Mathew is reason why we not getting the usual rain and wind from pacific.. its a big arse front, you think of all the energy those things capture...

Flintshire in North Wales. We had our first patch of moisture this morning which has left a good bit of damp. The ground is wet but no rain drops on cars so I guess it was heavy condensation overnight? Maybe it'll help slightly

I think I found some here today in Somerset, never done this before but have been studying hard on here for a while, numbered 1 - 10 I am pretty certain of, and the other four not so sure. But hey I'm well pleased seeing as there has literally been no rain here for ages! Ground was a but dewy though in the spongy places. These were mostly growing by thistles in a cow field First time posting a photo so it may not work....

Hey guys. Found my best batch this morning, went on a whim to see what might be there as I'd only been to the spot Tuesday, it hadn't rained, weather had been dry and windy. I didn't think there'd be much to find. To my surprise and excitement the ground was soaked with dew and I found these juicy fellas along with lots of little lads following one hour picking. Eeeek!!!! And it's finally raining, hallelujah! Happy hunting folks

Put them on some papers and into a warm place to dry them. If you want to consume them tomorrow you could also put them in the fridge but not longer than 2 days.

Does anyone know how up and running the season is down in Wales? Planning to go there over the weekend purely to hunt, so if anyone has any advice regarding that vicinity it'd greatly be appreciated. If it's of any extra info, they don't appear to have really got going round by me at the minute, but since Wales has higher elevations and generally is lower in temp than where I am now, id hope there to be some there. To put things even moreso in perspective, Wales is approximately 115 miles west to where I'm located now.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has any info, as I wouldn't really wanna waste a trip to Wales

I'm in North Wales, the coldest part of Wales; there's nothing here yet and unfortunately I doubt that'll change over the next 2 day's. I'd advise waiting till around the 20th at earliest to avoid wasting a 115 mile journey.

Just to say, I've found a few hundred in the Welsh hills over the last couple of months but they were pretty spread out and almost all above 1000ft. I'd only make the trip this early if you're desperate. Probably better to wait a few weeks.

Conditions were perfect for me today, yet literally none.
I'll check again on Monday maybe, inconsistency even when conditions are good is very demoralising though. I found them in the same spot in a dry area of August, why not a wet October? No logic.

Im finally getting somewhere now over in South West Scotland. I;ve been visiting a couple of spots over the past 3 or 4 weeks and returning with nothing, but now it seems that the colder weather and rain have paid off!
Found these all within say 25 sq metres

I went up on the hills of South Wales last week and found these, some of them seem a bit big for libbies but aside from that I think they have all of the characteristics, could I get an ID to be sure?

That said, this is all I found over one hour and I was walking around in a tee shirt which really isn't lib picking weather

Nothing again... Nice damp day yesterday and nice damp morning today. Nothing. I saw a little clump of uninteresting LBMs so fungus is clearly growing. Methinks I'm just looking in the wrong fields. I need help

With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.
