No, they are Conocybe apala.
Other than that, it is preferred that you post identification requests in individual threads, as you're more likely to get quicker attention and better help.

Think it may be a little bit too warm still - although I'm only an hour from you Blazeyy.
Weather looks like it's going to be warm until September at the moment.
Will the amount of rainfall outweigh the heat??
Hmm it seems to not matter once you get that drop, was hunting 22+ daytime last year, but yeah it's quite few and far inbetween here i will be going when i get a smoke soonish to check in the day time as it was really dark when i got to the second spot, also, all my spots have been micro climates (but i only hunt in micro climates anyway lol).
Oh almost forgot temps here are 24 day 13 night ^^

UK heatwave dampened as weather warning issued for thunderstorms, hail, flooding and lightning
Quote:
Some places could see as much as 30mm of rain in one hour, with more than 50mm of rain in a few hours
Just as the UK was gearing up for a week of heatwave conditions, the Met Office has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms across much of the country. Heavy rain, strong wind, large hail, and frequent lightning have been predicted by forecasters, with the risk of flash flooding likely to affect homes, businesses and transport networks.
The only part of the country that appears to be spared is the south-east, where temperatures will rise to 32C and sunny conditions will prevail. However, things look gloomier for Northern Ireland, which will see the first round of heavy rain hit on 19 July evening before it seeps into Scotland overnight and into 20 July.
A chief forecaster for the Met Office said: "Whilst most places will miss the worst, please be aware of the risk of flash flooding. Frequent lightning, large hail and strong winds could be additional hazards. All of this could lead to some flooding of homes, businesses and transport networks. Disruption to power is also possible."
Some places could see as much as 30mm of rain in one hour, with more than 50mm of rain in a few hours. On 20 July, Wales, northern England and the Midlands will also be at risk of heavy downpours, however, it is expected to ease up by the evening.
Meanwhile, London temperatures are set to soar higher than Rio, Ibiza and Hawaii, reaching a year-high of 32C. The heatwave conditions have forced the Met Office to issue warnings for "very high" level right of UV rays, only one short of the highest "extreme" level.
Furthermore, cooling measures have been implemented on a number of tube lines, including air conditioned trains on the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith and City, and District lines. People are being urged to take caution when travelling on trains and buses, which could get overheated, particularly during rush hours.
St John Ambulance has issued tips on how to identify and deal with illnesses caused by the warm weather, with the most common conditions being cramping, fainting, sunburn and dehydration. Transport for London (TfL) will be handing out free bottles of water at train stations to remind commuters about staying dehydrating during the high temperatures.

lol might do some mushrooms good. must be pushing the humidity up a lot as it's a moist heat over there? after heat and some rain will probably make some nice collections. enjoy the bit of sun, winter is coming. but must say the people over there doing lots of effort with the heat wave. giving out water and cooling the tubes. hope the crazy weather makes for a great hunting session when it arrives.

hey new here and all that. Much luck in the North West UK yet? I've never hunted in Cheshire before but previously golf-courses and lightly grazed field have treated me well in West Wales. However still no luck. Any suggestions or think I'm a bit early?
If anyone knows some good spots in Cheshire, I'll happily buddy up and let u know the good spots in West Wales if u like, although tis a bit early for that area.

Hi Leyland. I work in Warrington and I am yet to find any! Think the altitude is too low at the moment. Blazeyy is roughly 350m up and is finding handfuls. I searched on Saturday at 300m and didn't find anything. Warrington is roughly 10m above sea level.
When I'm searching in my usual spot I know I will find them lower the colder it gets. Moving to St Helens soon so if I do find any around this altitude I'll let you know.
Think you need to go higher up like our man in Scotland

Still finding some in the same spot, got these last night

The season here seemed to be triggered by a drop in temps to 9c during the night at the start of the month.
