Close, in a relative sense, but if your looking for a mushroom spotting partner I think we have to wait until we can get access to the gathering forum ♡

Not many, but a few anyway..
Any idea what they are and if they're active?
I'm getting the same print as you are from them.

Finish work tomorrow, which means driving from Yorkshire to Lancashire via the M62: I would love to pull up, as the terrain is PERFECT LOL. Anyway, going over the local moors Saturday, sounds like I may meet more than just dog walkers :-D

Also found this other mushroom growing, they looked like libs but slightly yellowish, grew in clusters similar to libs in lib habitats, I thought they were just sterile libs at first but I found an actual sterile lib in my collection today, which looks exactly like a lib would, just with pale gills..
I was wondering if anybody knew this other mushroom im talking about, Is there any chance of it being poisonus? I actually remember finding one of these in my stash before i started drying last year and i didnt trust it so i chucked it.
So...... The mushrooms that grow in the same areas as Libs, that look like Libs, but when you turn them over the gills are light and form a solid base.....these are Libs, but sterile........what does this mean please?

A young specimen of Conocybe Apala?
sounds like it or something along those lines, especially if it has a brown spore print. (i can find a bunch of those, just not libs in my part of the world)
anything with a brown print is definitely not something anyone wants in their lib stash.

Only been picking libs for about 4 years. The person who taught me always said to me that temps need to drop and needs to be wet, as we all know, but never considered that they could be found in decent quantities in summer. This year following this thread I found about 5 dried grams and it was so warm, I was wearing shorts and even took my shirt off whilst walking through the fields. Brilliant. Makes picking an even more enjoyable experience than it already is! I felt quite lucky actually. Thanks to all who engage and spread knowledge here.

Found these at the top of a mountain with a tonne of sheep up north.
Can anyone confirm if any of these are libs?

Think you got a bit of a mixture there bro..
There are defo a few libs there.
What to do is, line them up and take a bit of a better pic and we can help you identify them.
Defo some libs there tho.

Sorry mate, my mistake.
I didnt enlarge the pic correctly.
They all look fine with exception of the 3 larger ones.
The biggest one i wouldnt trust, the 2 smaller of the 3 biggest are probably just overgrown wet libs.
That large one i would ditch if i were you.
That rounded cap at the top right(ish) doesn't look valid either.
Let them dry a bit and repost a pic, even get a print.
Happy Hunting.

The one with the orange spire print is likely dangerous. The bigger one, might be able be of those active ones that grow on dung. But with a deep black spire print maybe not. I only go for libs because that's what I have learned to ID maybe in time I will learn more varieties.
