Gonna be out having a walk near Ilkley moor in Yorkshire today. It's been raining for the last two days and is nice and cloudy today, hopefully all these little fuckers will be popping right out. Altitude looks to be around 200-300m above sea level, so if what I've read about high altitudes developing libs first is right, we should be in for a treat even though it's early in the season!
I assume actual moorland would be pretty crap for libs, as the heathery stuff would just take over any possible habitats, so I'm going hunting for slopey farmland NEAR the moor. It seems like a sweet spot really. Will post back with results.
Google maps scouting looks thusly:

Let us know how you get on, that's not too far from me. I checked 300 metres high in the east side of the Dales this weekend with no look there. Found 3 at 400 metres in central sales area. I would certainly becareful of post specifics as anyone can read these posts. Good luck!

I'm 99.9% sure this is a Lib Cap. I would say 100% if you uploaded at least 2 pics.

Don't do the "my friend found it" or "they're just internet pics" thing though in future, it offers no legal protection and just makes posts harder to read.

There seems to be such a lack of people posting their finds so far this year. Even with the weather being perfect this past week. I'm hopefully going hunting today so will post pics when I get back.

I've had good luck on moor and high sheep pastures. The grass pockets in between heather and braken. South facing slopes. Need to cycle/walk above 300. 2 weeks ago there where a lot of mature ones around now it's young wet ones in between the grass. When you spot one, rummage about in the tufts. Leave the little baby ones.

Here's todays finds! All laid out ready to dry in the oven at a low low temperature. (is this a good way to dry them by the way?)
BEWARE SUPER HI RES IMAGE!>!182f?><>?*^%$%&*&^%$£

Started out not finding many but we switched through different types of fields, and ended up finding them much higher up than where we started (there were three of us and we spent about three hours looking). The first place we found to park was a layby right near somewhere called 'Mushroom Cottage'. What are the chances!
To say it's this early on, I'm really happy with this lot, and I'm 99% sure they're all libs. Do you guys reckon coming back here in a week we'll find ourselves a lot more?

Ended up taking the guys last night, first time ingesting freshies and it was mental. We thought we were in for a mild experience and I was pushing through level 3 for a while. Didn't matter if my eyes were open or closed in a dark spot - very strange indeed! We ate about 18 fresh grams between two of us, as far as I'm aware that's like an average dose?
Can different libs just sometimes be more potent than others?

That's 1.8 grams not even a dose worth doing especially between two
